"24 - 2/7/05 episode"

LAST EDITED ON 02-08-05 AT 11:47 AM (EST)

Thanks to Edgar they caught the real mole and then she gets knocked out. Wonder if she will wake up with amnesia. It would have been better and funnier if it was Chloe instead of Edgar. I miss Chloe. Edgar is no Chloe.

They also caught Henry Powell, but then he gets killed. How many times has this happened to Jack and he always says, "DAMN!"

Tony the Tiger rocks! Michelle left him, poor guy. At least he's gettin' some from the barfly.

Next week another "family member" is introduced UGH... looks like Edgar's ill mother lives near 3 Mile Island I hate these story lines!!

Interesting was Kiefer's commercial about Muslims that aired later in the show...

Yes it was. They must have gotten complaints from the Muslim community.

Best line? When Jack commented on Tony's new babe: "She seems real sweet."

And yes, the show is getting a lot of flak from the Muslim community for stereotyping. Personally, I'm just enjoying watching Mommy Dearest. I can see why the actress has an Oscar nomination to her credit - she's wonderful.

I thought the best line was when Audrey was talking to Tony's girlfriend--

Audrey: You're boss will understand....

Girlfriend: What if he doesn't

Audrey: Then I'll have him killed...

That was excellent too. Made me like Audrey more.

Audrey went up a notch in my book. That was a great line! I am also starting to really enjoy Edgar. I was so glad he caught our spy! What an idiot for not being nicer to Edgar was she??

Hubby was wondering why Keifer gave his little speech. This show and FOX are taking a lot of flac from the Muslim and Islamic communities. Even though no one in the show has mentioned any religion per se these folks are screaming loud about their portrayl.

I am enjoying this season so much more than last! Ok I think I have said that enough! lol

Made me like Audrey more.

That means that you liked her before this....I did not, the line was good..also her drinking a beer--but if she continues to be "Kim and dead wife like" then I don't know...

Maybe they read my tirades on here and changed her character...I do have that influence on Kiefer ya know

I liked the line at the helicoptor when the guy asked who they worked for and Tony said actually he was unemployed. Made me laugh.

(tacking my responses to every subhead in this part of the thread in one post, because i'm feeling un-DAW-like)

1. totally agree Bebo! i said it in one of the earlier epi threads, but still think that Bert's (that's easier to remember how to spell than Berhooz) mom is the most interesting character

2. also loved Audrey's line.

3. but I'm down to the last disc of season 3 (minus the finale which i've already seen, so i just lack 21-23), and it's maybe my favorite season yet (well, equal to season 1 anyway)! did people really not like it? and i wonder if my opinion is influenced by seeing the whole run in basically one go and already having seen the ending? interesting

Last night's episode was really good! Edgar finds the mole, Audrey "I'll have him killed", Behrooz and his mom, very entertaining!

Next week's episode preview from FOX:
JACK DISCOVERS WHO THE TRAITOR IS AT CTU, CTU CLOSES IN ON DINA ARAZ. Jack discovers the identity of the traitor at CTU. Meanwhile, Behrooz, now on the run from his murderous father, desperately seeks treatment for his wounded mother as CTU closes in on her in the episode.

what's coming next (hidden text):
Behrooz will seek help from his uncle Naseem. Marianne will give Curtis an address to check out but she is shot by the terrorists. Curtis is taken by the terrorists but he gets free. Michelle will supposedly be back for a confrontation with Tony either this episode or the next. (source TDT)

Has anyone else noticed the stubble on Sec. Heller (Devane)? Are you telling me that this guy gets up in the morning, shaves, goes to work, is captured and roughed up by terrorists, is rescued, and ends up with stubble by early/mid-afternoon? That's one fast growing beard. Or else the terrorists pulled on his chin follicles while he was in captivity.

A new form of torture?

<ends up with stubble by early/mid-afternoon?

HA! Good catch, Gothmog.

But do remember - he was saved within a whisker of a second, so his appearance is reflecting that.

He had a close shave with his and Audrey's mortality. Jack Bauer's razor sharp wit and courage is what saved them from the terrorists, who were lathered into a frenzy of power and hate.

(Ok - I'll quit now.)

Everyone is entitled to my opinion.
