What's the relationship between the two? Aren't their last names both O'Brien? There was a little romantic tension on a few episodes but nothing explained. What did I miss????

At the end of season 5, Jack needed a trustworthy non-CTU tech person for his takedown of the president. Chloe recommended her ex-husband Morris, a former CTU employee who was then working as a ladies' shoe salesman, and Jack used Morris to set up the secret bugging of the first lady that brought Logan down.
This season Morris is back in CTU, and he and Chloe are dating again.
