“I was shocked, upset and betrayed,” Marcie Eisler, 31, told Star magazine. “I should have trusted my instincts.” The mother of Eisler’s two kids — ages 19 months and just seven weeks — suspected her figure-skater hubby was two-timing with Swanson when she flew out to L.A. to visit him during the taping of the show.
But Swanson, 36, a B-list actress who played the lead in the 1992 flick “Buffy The Vampire Slayer,” made sure Marcie knew the awful truth. At the end of October the former Playboy covergal forwarded Eisler’s wife a steamy e-mail he had sent the skating strumpet. “It basically talked about how much he loved her,” a source told Star.
The Canadian pairs Olympic champ “eventually admitted it,” when his wife confronted him. “I told him, ‘One of us is leaving this house because we cannot continue together,’ ” Marcie told the tab. “Lloyd left on Nov. 5.”
The couple signed their separation agreement on Nov. 30 and Marcie says her husband of three years and Swanson are still an item. “I talk to Lloyd because we have two children together,” said Marcie, who is mom to newborn Seth and toddler Ethan. “I guess he and Kristy deserve each other.”

Another link.Apparently Lloyd's publicist is saying the relationship started after he and his wife separated, but his wife does not agree.

It did kind of look like they were flirting during their practice from this past week's show...I wonder if the judges knew when they chose the song. They were the only ones with a slow, sexy song, and they really played the chemistry up very well. Now I know why...

She said she and Lloyd separated in the summer and were working on their relationship in early August when he received an offer from Fox to star on Skating with Celebrities. Well, by this statement, it does sound as though they were separated before he started the show & met Kristy. So, who knows?
I am really surprised about this, though. This is proof that Kristy is not a great actress, acting the chemistry between the two of them. 
While I am of the thinking that you're obligated to remain faithful to a spouse until the ink is dry on the papers (both for the sanctity of marriage, but also for the fact that how can a person commit themselves to another when they're still dealing with the messiness of divorce) I also know that many people do not think like me and commitment means nothing -- thus so many adulterous affairs & separated and sleeping around going on in the world.
But it wouldn't affect my opinion on Lloyd & Kristy's skating abilities as a pair. It's not my life they're affecting with their supposed affair.

Especially if the woman is pregnant. This is such a boring, typical story. Big athlete hits the Hollywood/commentator big-time, there goes the marriage and fatherhood...

I think like you, Catty. And I still want them to win. But I am really disappointed in them, especially Lloyd because I have always admired his skating so much (which I still do).

Sheesh, if this were a call-in show, Kristy'd could seriously be compromised. Or not, since the voting public always does wacky things with their dialing fingers (and brains).

I think the saddest part about this is that Lloyd's kids are so very young. It's always the kids that get the short end of the stick when marriages break up.

In the last episode I remember thinking to myself that Lloyd and Kristie seemed really close and had such great chemistry. I've wondered in the past on shows like these if the people who are working so closely and so intensely together ever hook up. I'm thinking particularly of Drew and Cheryl, Louis and Lisa, and Stacie and Tony on "Dancing With the Stars."

If I remember correctly, she was his "best man" at his wedding, totally on the up and up. Being his skating partner, she became his best friend, and stood up for him at his wedding.

You could totally tell Kristy and her giggles that she wanted to say something like "Well, screwing is helping a lot," and Lloyd totally jumped in to cover their asses.

I thought it looked pretty obvious from the way he was hanging on to her during the questions off ice. Every time she laughed and stepped away a little for a second he pulled her back...His arm never left her waist. It was kind of funny in a sick possessive sort of way. Sig by J Slice!

It was taped in September-October, which is also when they started seeing each other. Allegedly Lloyd's wife found out in or around October, so I'd guess that everyone involved in the taping probably knew shortly after she found out, if they didn't already. Sig by J Slice!
