I keep waiting for parts of Bruce's face to crack in the cold.
Jillian's skating was pretty pathetic tonight, and John screwed up. I'm sure they'll end up in first again tonight, but Jillian looked like she hadn't been on the ice in a couple of days (weak and unsteady)...definitely working on all of the random hard stuff that they didn't even put in the program hurt them. Jillian's technique isn't good enough to take days off working on the program to work on other crap.I'm only half watching right now, but I'll chime in after each pair.
I'm totally impressed with Bruce and Tai's death spiral. That was brave on Tai's part since the slower you go the harder it is, and Bruce actually centered it.His lunge was great, as was his spiral. He still looks really hesitant...if he'd gain more confidence, he'd be a million times better.
Wow. Bruce and Tai beat John and Jillian. I fully support that decision, but I'm kind of surprised that the judges actually did it.
Ummm...I think I'll just save my comments about Dave and Nancy for the summary. I don't have words yet.Is anyone else watching? Anyone?

But I must say, Dave made a more attractive woman than Nancy.
LOL. It didn't quite work to have the woman role be a big man, and the man role be a small woman, but they kinda pulled it off. And at least we didn't have to look at Nancy, right?
I've never skated so I don't know if any moves are correct, but Kristy was good until fall and then it looked like she lost sync with her partner.

Ow. Poor Kristy. The lift was really good. She tripped over her toepick and never recovered. Nobody's really talking about the disaster of a spin. I watched it over and over in the preview for last week, so I know she went over her toe there, too, but Lloyd was partially to blame, too.
I like Dave but Nan just looks stiff to me---she always has tho. I really like Bruce but wish he would put some personality into it.
I don't like Debbie at all. She reminds me of the AI rejects with bad attitude.

Gotta be honest, I barely looked at the TV for Kurt and Deborah. It was quite boring, and I don't want to watch it more than absolutely necessary to write the summary...I have no idea how they did. They didn't fall, and they were boring.
I couldn't believe that Dorothy said Deborah nailed the lunge.
I agree - Deborah barely went down at all.

How 1967. I like Deborah, but why she didn't thwack her hair stylist is beyond me.
