I thought it might be a good idea for everyone to list the city, channel and time the new season of Starting Over will be airing so that there is ONE thread that people can use as a reference.

Philadelphia Area
WCAU-TV,Channel 10 (NBC)
Airs at 11 AM.
(starting on 9/12)

(They are no longer airing S.O. on WB 17 they've switched it to channel 10)

Edited to add: I forgot to add the NETWORK it is aired on, which can be helpful if people are trying to find it on their individual cable/satelite systems.

Good idea! I had just looked it up on the station's website this morning to see if it is changing, and it is not.

Do you have cable? I don't. All I have are fancy rabbit ears! LOL You probably want to call your cable company and ask them what channel WB is on now. Surely they wouldn't dump WB, especially since it is a local channel! I hope not--I'm with you, I have to have my SO.

YEA!!! My neighbor has Dish (Ch.9 @ 2pm ) and she will tape SO for me everyday...Thanks for the help..

hmmm, I have one TV with just antenna, and it's on Channel 6. The other TV is Dish Network and it's on channel 33. Both are WB and both are 2PM.

Often the BROADCAST channel is different from the cable/satelite channel. Check your cable/satelite guide as to which channel they placed the "WB" network. If you pull up the guide with your remote it should indicate which channel is "WB" or at least by the call letters: KDAF-TV.

Federal Law requires that local broadcast channels, such as "WB" (ABC, NBC, CBS, Fox -- are carried by cable companies. (The "Must-Carry law.) So, you should be able to find it.

OR...

If you go and register at TVGUIDE.COM, it will allow you to choose your cable/satelite system based on your zip code and it should give you the info. (I tried to do it for you with a general Dallas/Ft. Worth zip, but since I'm already registered under MY address, it wouldn't allow me to easily look up the info for YOUR area -- sorry.)

Hey i live here in Dallas Fort Worth. I dont know what part of town you live in, but i get WB on channel 33.at 2pm. but next month they are getting all these new shows on WB during the day.. i dont know if they are going to move SO around or not. i would check the tv guide.

Well, I think the new S.O. site is supposed to be up on the 19th, but that doesn't mean the channel listings is guarranteed to be up to date.

A week ago I actually called the production company to find out where it was playing in the Philadelphia area and they just suggested I call the TV station in my area..

I had told them I had been emailing/calling stations in my area and I was getting no response from them -- "THATS why I'm calling YOU."

Their only response was essentially "we can't help you".

I was pissed off. Of COURSE a production company would either have the list, or would at least have the number of the distribution company so I could find out.

A fan was dedicated enough to call across country, and all they could do was shrug their shoulders?? Pathetic.

Anyway, since I knew it was a struggle for ME to find out, I thought it would be helpful to have a thread here that will help give the info.

Gee, that is ridiculous! You cannot tell me that they do not know what stations are purchasing the show. What a runaround. I wouldn't be happy either.

In case this helps anyone else to find out, what I did was went to the website of WB33, the channel currently airing the show in my area. I looked up the tv schedule for the day of Sept. 19, since that is when the new season begins, and looked to see if it was there.

I live in Wichita Falls Tx and my satilite company says I can't get WB out of Dallas, does anyone know what channel I can watch it on in my town. Thanks for any help you can give on this.

SO is also on WB 33 at 5:00 a.m. Tuesday thru Saturday. On Monday they show "I Love Lucy" Hmmmm.... just thought of something...somehow there has to be an Allsion joke in there.

Hi Hunterjax, Another San Diegan representing here. Channel 5 on Time Warner, But do you know if it is also Channel 5 on Cox cable. I will be moving soon to 4sRanch Area(RB) from PQ and they use Cox not Time Warner cable.

I need info on So in the Columbus, Ohio viewing area. It was on NBC channel 4 WCMH at 10am. Now montel is in that time slot. Also at one time it was on TLC channel 12 at 3pm. I have been searching many websites for this info and cannot find any. Please if someone has any info or ideas for me to try, please let me know. Thank you so much!

Hi daywatcher,

You may have already found it. They moved it from channel 4 to Fox 28 (channel 8 on Time Warner) it's now on at a 11am.

Okay kids...I DVR SO every day, and on Thursday and Friday, although it was shown on the listings (Columbus, OH), two dumb infomercials were recorded and not SO. Something's up with Channel 28. Anyone else had this happen, and if so, have you found SO anywhere else? Egads I missed Jessica's graduation!!!!

I had the same thing happen this week. I'm in Columbus and I'm very upset! I've sent an email to WTTE to find out what's up and if it's cancelled in our area I will be livid!

I was hoping someone else would know something about this.

I was really upset when I thought that they had stop airing the
show but the next day I check the same channel but different
times and found out that the show was now and hour earlier.

Chicago is airing SO at 3:30am Sat. morning for the show missed on Friday due to the Baseball games. Great if you can stay up that late or get up that early! (WGN ch9)

Hello, I'm in Castle Rock, Washington. About 10 min. from Longview, Wa. Yes two very small towns that probably no one has ever heard of, but here i watch SO on ch.49 a fox station and it comes on at 1pm. The last season i was really lucky cuz when i was not able to watch it at 1pm, i could stay up and catch the show at 2am. But for some reason they put a fast halt to that. Oh well im just so very happy that i only have a few more day's until the show starts back up again!!! It's going to be really different this season with men, it just might be more exciting than the last couple seasons.

Its not on in Ft. Lauderdale anymore either and I have been trying to find out why. I'm at the point now where I'm just going to forget about this show. I loved it, but am tired of looking for it on t.v. I know a lot of people who feel the same way.

This really sucks!!!! I live in Longview Texas. Season 2 was aired at 3 PM on CBS. Now season 3 is going to be aired on CBS.....but at 12:37 AM !!!!!!!!! What kind of stupid programming is this? I will have to tape it every night to watch the following day! Season 1 was shown on WB and was at 11:30 PM. How the heck to they expect to find loyal fans when they keep moving it around??? Grrrrrrrrrrrr!!!

SO is moved to noon on NBC. Which is good, because now it might not be interrupted for all breaking news events which are evidently required to 'break' at 11:00 AM (the previous slot)!!

I swear I could never get through one week without an interruption ... usually during a most critical/dramatic moment!

Here in Kansas City it's on at 10:00 am on KMBC, channel 12 if you have cable. I'm nt sure if there are any reairs, I'll look though. I know Lifetime, and Channel 7 (cable) aired it, also, but Lifetime's dropped it, so 7 might still have it, but i'm not sure...

I live in Green Bay Wisconsin and they moved S.O. from FOX 11 at 10 a.m to NBC 26 at 2 p.m. Thank goodness for my DVR because it's on when General Hospital is on, and I can't miss either one!!!!!!!!! As for Iyanla's outfit, I wondered if "Omar the Tentmaker" had paid her a visit????

Aired 9/12 on abc after the view at noon. NBC cancelled the show and put Murray in the 9am morning slot. Hope you find the broadcast.

Here in MID-Michagan it is showing on the WB

its actually called:

Mid Michagans WB

It shows at 8:00AM

Hope this helps someone cuz I had to do a search on my TV to locate it.

I'll throw in here that it's on Channel 13 outta Baltimore at 9:00 AM, following the CBS Morning News.

Depending on where you live within the DC area, you may or may not get Baltimore channels in addition to the DC ones.

Here in Madison, WI, now, it airs on WMTV-15 (NBC) at 2 PM CST.

Thanks Bebo for inquiring...I just posted to the "Ohio" earlier in the thread...I'm getting infomercials instead of Starting Over on my DVR!! UGH! I missed Jessica's graduation and the Friday show...someone's playing with the listings!!!

This is the reply I received to an email I sent the Central Ohio TV station regarding Starting Over-

Thank you for writing to WTTE/FOX28.

As you are aware, Starting Over was pre-empted last Thursday and
Friday. It will also be pre-empted this Wednesday & Thursday. You
will not miss any new episodes or any story lines. The original
episodes will air this Monday (12/19), Tuesday (12/20), Friday (12/23)
and Monday (12/26). After next Monday, Starting Over is in repeats.

We apologize for any confusion with the schedule, as these were last
minute changes. It is sometimes necessary to pre-empt regular
programming for 'paid' programming. Unfortunately, Starting Over is
the lowest rated program in our daytime lineup. Therefore, we chose to
pre-empt Starting Over. After this week, we should be back to our
regular schedule.

Thanks again for writing and please let us know if you have any other
questions.

We have Dish TV however SO is on local channel 4 KOAT TV (ABC) and is shown at 10 am. Hopefully when the olympics are aired in a couple weeks they won't pre-empt SO....I hope, I hope, I hope.

But there could be much weeping, wailing and gnashing of teeth on here because many (most?) stationss that carry SO are NBC affiliates. And NBC has the Olympics.

We'll have to see what NBC's coverage plans are.

I'm in Boise Idaho...12 noon for me! I recently moved from Coeurd'Alene and it showed at 10am there...thankful it's later here cuz I'm a night owl.

P.S. If I'm up late my posts here read that I added my info 2 hours later than I actually did. Makes me look like a worse night owl than I really am hehe.

Uh Oh ~ never thought about the Olympics preempting SO. Thankfully on Dish in Atlanta we get it twice a day. Regular time is 3pm, NBC ... WXIA ch.11

Replay of that day - middle of night - 3:30 am, same channel. God meant for us to watch it ... that's why he made DVR! .... unless they replay olympics at 3:30am instead! =(

In Northeast Wisconsin (Green Bay area)NBC 26 is running Starting Over at 2 p.m. and so far the Olympics haven't pre-empted it here....

Ok I watch SO on WGAL channal 8, which is Harrisburg,Lancaster, Lebanon. i was checking the tv guide section for next week and i see they have Dr.Phil coming on at 11 am instead of SO. If anyone in this area knows when it will be on next week please let me know. ty

Here (in Manhattan, anyway) SO airs on NBC channel 4 at noon.

JUDGE JUDY???!!! Why, oh why? I hate it when normal programming gets jacked up for special programming (don't even get me started on State of the Union addresses;)

I live in NYC area. How about Columbus Day parade, and rain, they showed people under an awning and it was just drizzling.

If they preempt, then replay it at night and we can tape it.
