When you are reposting an entire blog entry, you are violating that guideline, since they own their material. There's a big difference between commenting on something that someone mentioned in their blog or quoting one or two sentences in a post, and posting the entire thing. When you copy the whole entry, not only are you violating our guidelines, but you're probably also violating the terms of use of the site from which you got the material.
So...don't do it.
There have been questions about why some threads have been shut down and others haven't. Here are two reasons:1. Short excerpts from other sites are permitted, but copying/pasting entire entries is not.
2. The ones that are locked are the ones that posters are alerting moderators about. If you think someone's violating the guidelines and nothing's been done about it, then alert the mods. Don't expect us to be psychic.
