I agree with you on one hand, except that she did accomplish something, actually, 3 things that Rhonda asked of her.They asked her to make a meal and she did. Earlier, Lisa would have just bought ready-to-eat food. She had to cook this herself, clean her appartment, arrange a time that was good for all of her guests, etc...etc...
As far as her staying at the job after graduation, that was not part of the condition.
I know this may seem like easy stuff for most people but this is why Lisa was "Growing up at 40" - because these are not things that she is accustomed to.
I don't cook. Ever. And I always thing of how hard it would be to host a Thanksgiving dinner. Many people do this with little stress and some do it very stressed but they still do it. Still others, like myself, see it as so overwhemlming that we wouldn't even consider it.
I am not a huge fan of Lisa but I can relate to her on a certain level. At my age (32) I've not done many things that people my age and much younger have accomplished.
This may not seem like a lot to most people but it's a start.
