The new woman entering the house is overweight. Why are the majority of the women that come in the house overweight? There are always weight issues that have to be delt with on the show. Its like a requiremnet to be on the show. The show is the opposite of other TV shows that only has the stick thin and model beautiful people. But this is disturbing to me that so many woman have such weight problems.

Then you'll be shocked to hear that the average American woman is a size 14. Not your typical stick thin and model beautiful person. SO is about real women with real problems (supposedly).

Many women do have weight problems and even if they are not overweight many women focus on their weight as if it were a problem. We have a national obsession with dieting and fitness and yet we are the fattest nation in the world. Go figure.

Trust me I know, I used to be very overweight and have had to deal with it all my lfe. I just lost 80 pounds and I still don't feel good about myself. I workout for the first time in my life, I love my eliptical. Im saying that problems we woman have always shows up in our weight. Weight sceams volumes as to what is truely wrong inside. Overweight we notice and are embarrassed by, but being too thin is the 'Hey you look great' syndrome.
