I put this in the wrong forum before. It was my first post. But I wonder if anyone else feels the way I do. I was upset by the way Kelly was talking about Kim today (Wednesday)when she was on the phone. To me she was verbally abusive--talking about Kim in a very demeaning way. Kim is a compulsive talker. Most compulsive talkers are just nervous. They are trying desperately to connect with the person they are talking to but they are too nervous to stop long enough to listen. So their attempt to connect backfires and instead the person is annoyed. As a nervous talker myself I feel sorry for Kim. Even if Kelly is annoyed and dislikes Kim, does she have to talk so badly about her. She doesn't even use her name. She says, "that girl." This is because Kelly, in my opinion, also pushes people away by looking down on them. Both Kim and Kelly are using defense mechanisms designed to AVOID connecting. I hope the coaches help both of them.
