What is this about? Have the producers of Starting over completely lost their minds?!!! According to Tivo, the housemates learn their new roomate is Kim's mother 3/10/06. I don't see how this will help Kim get over her issues, and will only interfere with her healing process. Whatever issues Kim's mom has, and I'm sure she has a lot of deep rooted probelems, she should find another way to get help. Kim and her mother's problem is hardly the same mother/daughter issues that Hayley and Lynell had, and have worked through in Season 1. I was looking forward for another "Sista" to move in, not somebody's momma.

I suspect Rhonda invited Melinda to get a better perspective on Kim's issues. All Rhonda's heard, so far, is Kim's side of it. Anyway, HG's parents, siblings, or spouse are often included in the process.

I think that's a wonderful idea....Kim may wish Jill had never left. i'm looking forward to this round...i'd like to hear Melinda's side of things.

lol-agreed. That would be priceless. With Jill going out and Kims mom coming in it kinda begs the question; Will mom be rooming with Jodi or are they gonna switch roommates and have Kim and her mom bunking? Either way, Kim will have her panties in a twist I bet.

I can picture it in my mind now........Kelly in her polite, sweet way of saying things kicks Kim's moms a$$ with her mouth and Kim gets hot because she is always defending mommy dearest and no one gets away with hurting her moms feelings. Giant cat fight ensues and Jodi joins in because Kelly has been rubbing her the wrong way since day one.

Then Christie's mom shows up and starts living in the car right outside the gates of the SO house so Christie loses all control and starts eating and drinking.

Meantime Lisa2's husband shows up because he feels left out of the loop and hasn't had a decent home cooked meal since Lisa2 came to the SO house.

Jill is called back to help with Lisa1. Jill's dad and Jodi's dad come together and become fast friends.

And right in the middle of all this conflama Allison shows back up because she is broke and in debt again.

Ok now that I got it all solved, guess I can live my life. NOT!!! lol

Kim seems like she has a great need to get alot of questions answered with Mom so this could be really good for her. I'm glad she's not buying all of the answers Christie's received and face to face could be a good thing. I hope she doesn't stay long though..and that she's there for Kim's issues and not her own. Could be interesting to see how/if their personalities are similar. I certainly hope they don't tie them together though..being in the house at the same time would be enough IMO.
