The easiest answer is that first impressions are hard to change. If you go to CBS polls, you'll notice that Jen's popularity has gone from less than 1% in the first week to being the highest rated woman for the last 2 weeks. She's second to Dick (!) in overall popularity but there must be a core of fans that formed an opinion at first and can't change.

I think that the timing of the polls is off -- they have to do them early, because the house is a few days ahead of the television schedule. So people are voting based on old news -- I too am coming around to root for Jen, but two weeks ago wanted her dead and gone, and I'm getting most of my info from the television show rather than the live feeds.

Personally, I really hope that Erik gets backdoored this week -- hate him!
