Ty did a good job but I personally didn't think it was anything special. I'm shocked to say it, but I think Suzy will do the encore this week. She took an ENORMOUS gamble on one of my favorite songs of all time and holy ****, I thought it was great!

I wonder if INXS would ever give the encore to someone in the bottom 3. I'd guess not, since two performances in one show may be seen as a disadvantage (although I don't think it should be)

Well according to them they do not know who is in the bottom 3 until Brooke announces it. I remember the first time they had an encore performance they called JD down to the stage and asked him if he knew why he was there. He said he must be in the bottom 3. And INXS told him that actually they had no idea who was in the bottom 3 that week. They just wanted to hear him sing California Dreamin' again. So if they were telling the truth, they pick the person they want to hear again and it has nothing to do with how many votes the person did or did not get.

I did not care for her version on REM's classic at all. I guess I was not totally alone because she was in the bottom 3.

Yeah, Suzie's performance kind of ruined the song for me...luckily I only caught part of it because our sattelite cut out due to storms.

Not to be an a$$, but the Bob Marley song is called "No Woman No Cry". Ty's version was okay. The song by itself is an epic. (then again, I never get tired of good reggae)

I liked Ty's performance, but I thought he sang it too slowly. Just a bit (or a beat.)

"No Woman, No Cry" is one of my all time favorites & Ty did an amazing job IMHO. He hit 99% of the notes perfectly and really felt the song. You can't sing that song without feeling it & pull it off.
