I thought last nights show was very revealing. The "VH1 Edit" seemed much more edgy. More partying and less sanitized for CBS. I liked the press junket too, although it revealed more about the press then about the singers (suddenly everyone hates JD after Mig half-heartedly throws him under the bus). Also I got the sense that Mig did it because it was either a) coached or b) the easy answer. Either way I'm liking him less and less. JD can be an a-hole but he doesn't make bones about it...

...and oh yeah, my original subject. It seemed pretty revealing how Suzie was so floored by JD's idea to modify her song (REM I think). It appeared to reveal how creative he is and how she is mostly a good voice.
