"July 26th recap. Sketchy performances"

I think that Tara, jessica and Heather will be the bottom three tomorrow.
It seemed that all of the rockers had trouble this week. And a good thing that they will be having voice training coming up.

Mig looked incredible and has great stage presence, his voice seemed strained.
JD's performance was a convoluted mess. Long loss sister shows up in the audience, telling Inxs that he chose the song because "We are all the champions." Pointing in the direction of all of the rockers, who sit there stone faced. He knows he messed up and blames seeing his sister after two years, that through him off.
I am still sticking with JD to front this band, he just needs to get a grip and get his ego in check, he took a huge risk with we are the Champions, the biggest of the night, I like his courage, he puts it all out there every week. Mig is my second favorite and could grow into my first spot with his "vocal training."
Ty, doesnt do it for me, it just isn't a fit at all. And his ego is huge.
Jordis is awesome and should have a band called Jordis, not inxs.
Marty, is my long shot to win. I am looking forward to seeing him every week.
Brandon, is so so, for me, I have seen his act many times before.
We have to wait a whole week before we get to see them perform again, I hope next week will be better.

Based on tonight's performance alone, there is no way Tara or Jessica shouldd be in the bottom 3.

Yeah, it looked like Ty was throwing up in his mouth, a little bit.

Yeah, unfortunately we "get to" hear the worst ones perform more often.
But, it will get better as the field narrows.

No more lovefest, let the real game begin.

I was surprised how poor the performances were last night and wonder if, in part, it's due to loss of Neal (which really seemed to affect the others) & tension from J.D.'s comment.

LOVED Ty's performance (Hey, Deanna, that is how you feel REM). He was my fave of the night, followed by - MiG & Marty. And, by the way, other than Jordis, I thought everybody else performed poorly last night. Reality and nerves are setting in, I think.

I really felt bad for J.D.'s bad performance last night. I think he really wishes he could have taken back that comment and he didn't mean it to come off as bad as it did. I think the animosity of the other contestants and his desperation to win this thing caught up to him last night. I do not think he should be in the bottom 3 or go home tonight and want to see if he bounces back. He has been really good before this.

My bottom 3 (there are many to choose from this week) are:
Deanna
Heather
Jessica (To go home)

Even with the mess that was We are the Champions, I think JD will win.

My favorites from last night

1. Jordis- girl needs her own band
2. Ty
3. The guy that sang Nirvana (my bad, don't remember his name)

Save a horse, ride a cowboy.

Those were the best three last night.

As for Jessica, I am not a big fan of hers, but her performace was the best of the rest of the lot. She does not deserve to be in the bottom three based on her performace, but I don't think she has a lot of fans out there.

I don't understand the lvoe for Dapahne. She was HORRIBLE last night. THe judges said it Dave said it. It was obvisious. I thik others are liking her because he is attractive, but she was horrible with the Joan Jett song last week. It is obvisous to me she has the least amount of talent out of anyone.

His attitude is not that of a band singer. It is the attitude of a solo singer.

I want this song,
oh wait I can't sing it well,
I'll trade you songs,
why not.

To me he isn't remorseful, he is trying to find ways to get to the end. I think that encore was the worse thing that happened to him, his ego got too big.

Quite simply it was the worse performance of the night

However, I think most people voting now aren't voting based on how well or bad they did last night, but by how well they did overall. With that, I'd expect to see Tara and Jessica in the bottom three. The third on'e up in the air. Could be either Brandon, Susie, Daphna, Deanna or Heather. J.D. is possible, but I think he's probably pretty popular with the viewers.

So far the voting audience has been pretty fair about the bottom three being the worst performances of the week. With that being the case, I'm going with Daphna, Heather, and J.D. as the bottom three with Brandon as a possiblity in edging out J.D in that group. J.D.'s performance was probably the worst of the night. He did not hit one single note on key and gave a singularly nondynamic performance. Especially when compared to Freddy Mercery. That being said, I expect the band to spare him and take out Heather instead. They seemed really upset with Daphna channeling the Clash dressed up like Miss. America but I think she sings better than Heather and may get a second chance.

I totally agree with your thoughts. I think JD was only spared because he had already built a fan base and was one of the frontrunners to win, his performance was terrible.
