I'm sorry to hear that. Sounds like they're not disclosing very much at this point.

From everything I have read it isn't clear if they were dropped or parted ways. I have read both. But I do think it is best for INXS. Sony/Epic never did any promotion for them in the US. Plus MB had his hands in the pie of the original contract for a year. So it has now been a year and it might just be INXS getting out from under that contract. INXS has the money to start their own label if they want. It will be interesting to see what they do. This seems to only apply to the US. They are still under contract and doing well in other countries. They have gone platinum and multi platinum in Canada, Australia, New Zealand, etc.

Interesting that Supernova's deal with MB and Epic is for a two album deal where INXS' was for one album.

I agree that it's probably a case of the MB/Epic/INXS contract ending & neither party being happy.

They did an absolute sh!t job of promotion in the U.S. They might not have seen it as a wise investment. Whatever, I beg to differ.
