~~Folks have already explained to you why that phrase is part of our lexicon. Since this thread isn't really about the show, I'm going to lock it. There are a number of existing threads where folks are discussing their favorites.~~CORRECTION: No one had already explained to me anything prior to my posting. They had just explained it within the thread. I was very positive and having a SENSE OF HUMOR for goodness sakes. I didn't point fingers or single any particular person out and I changed the subject back to the show.
I have two words for you...CHILL OUT!!! You can get your message across without being so rude. You catch more flies with honey than vinegar.
quote "why that phrase is part of our lexicon"Gosh...only a member for a day and I get a mention!
To iluvsoapoperas...I don't think anyone was intentionally being rude, but rather just pointing out the conventions when drawing attention to other users posts. It has probably had to be said a hundred times before and so it's not easy to be as nice as pie every time and that may be why it came across as terse.
A read of previous posts gives a clear indication of how certain terms become part of the site's new jargon, 'anchor' being one such example.
Don't get miffed though, after all we are all here because we share at least something in common.
