Recappage of the ups and downs of the season for the final four.

Pros dancing us in.

Apparently just being incoherent is what makes the singers "rock".

Judges Pick Round
Cha Cha Relay.
Freestyle.

Val bloodied during dress. No really, blood dripping down his face.

Crap, Val's injury looked bad! Hope he's really okay & not just hoping he can make it through!

Dancing the Jive

Shake Shake Shake It.

He's weirdly awkward in this for me, and not in a good way.

Len. This was about seeing improvement, there was improvement, got excited and lost it on occasion. Slightly crisper footwork. Lovely.

Bruno. Limitless supply of power, just coming out of you. Pokes at Len. Missed a beat quite a few times and flat footed.

Carrie. You know how to turn the house upside down. I think the peanut one. Can you wear cleats, I can't wear heels.

Tom, need a translator for the judges.

Not bad, but hardly worthy of 10's. The straight 9's seemed appropriate.

Well, crud! Instead of listening to the judges blithering after Jacoby's dance, I ran outside to feed horses & when I came back in they were doing the segment with Val. I'll bet they showed how he got injured & I missed it!

Bruno comes to help out. Judges Pick the Samba.

Bruno wants them to put in Samba rolls.

Dancing to. Hips don't lie.

Looked like some of the afro jazz tried to sneak in.

Bruno. Scrumptious, no stopping you now, richer cleaner and slicker than ever. You got the jooosh.

Carrie Ann. You have the momentum, the swagger, the lines, the sensuality of each of the others.

Len. I saw improvement, lots of basic steps, hot sexy moves. A little bit on the legs. You are on the way up, that was terrific.

Oooh, Aly must have really POd the costuming dept! That makes her look HUGE! And umm.... busty!

A little disappointed that Aly didn't get a 10 from Carrie Ann.

What's with Mark's pubic fringe and tail? Maybe he lost a bet.

"Kellie and Derek"
Posted by Snidget on 05-20-13 at 08:41 PM
Judges Choice, Quick Step.

Len comes to help, work on hold with him.

And Derek has to make the opening all about him.

40's instrumental music.

Tom says the knobbly bits were perfect.

Len. I was palpating, perspirating, and nearly flatulating. That was excitement, like a stamp on a letter.

Bruno. The southern belle of the ball. Brighter livelier, technically a tour de force, couldn't put in more content. Glued together.

Carrie Ann. The one thing I was looking for and I saw it.

10 - 10 - 10 - 30

"RE: Kellie and Derek"
Posted by zookeepertx on 05-20-13 at 08:43 PM
I thought they looked a bit out of step right at the beginning, but otherwise really liked it.
(Stamps on letters are exciting? Who knew!)

I may have missed the left turn in Bruno's comments.

LAST EDITED ON 05-20-13 AT 11:48 PM (EST)

They were out sync in the beginning.
"Stamp on a letter"? Len needs his eyes checked.

"Zendaya and Val"
Posted by Snidget on 05-20-13 at 08:53 PM
Carrie Ann comes to help. Dancing the Samba. Want a bit more samba feel.

To foreign music. Sounds Spanish.

Carrie Ann. That is what I am talking about. Blending the authentic Samba, you lost nothing in that. Magical.

Len. That was eye popping show stopping jaw dropping. Only scratched the surface of your talent. Love the mix of basic Samba did the Plat. Not see that since the Falkland crisis.

Bruno. Natural flamboyancy, incredible technique. Fast steps to slow slinky, just keep getting better.

She elbowed him in the eye.

10 - 10 - 10 - 30

I liked that! Glad Val was able to dance!

I think Zendaya was the best by a slight margin.

"Cha Cha Relay"

Pulled cards for position. Best gets 5 points worst is 2 points.

Kellie and Derek up first. Kellie does better at ballroom for m.

Jacoby jumps over them. All I relally saw was Karina.

Aly and Mark were OK, but nothing special.

Zendaya and Val were pretty good.

Don't know how I'd rank them, mostly meh for me.

Len. This is the four that I think deserve to be in the finals and youa re all winners. Well done.

Bruno. Compliments each one and not sure what they are going to do.

Just couldn't keep up with the Bruno for this one.

Carrie. You are so fantastic but so diverse.

Head on up.

Karina and Kellie say they all deserve 5.

4th place 2 point Jacoby and Karina
3rd place 3 points Aly and Mark
1st place 5 points Zendaya and Val.
2nd place to Kellie and Derek with 4 points.

Next up Free Style.

Not a major surprise for me. I thought Zendaya was the best and Jacoby the worst.

New Orleans party to the dance floor, want a flash mob.

Dancing to Like the Ceiling Can't hold us?

The kidlets out tap danced them at the end for me.

Len. Got the party started, flat out attack. 108 yard touchdown.

Bruno. Love the sense of celebration. Energy made you lose the timing/sync.

Carrie Ann. Momma's Mad. It was unique. Strategy, you chose the right one for you. I think it outshined you. I wanted you to be the star, it was still fun.

Twitter for picking the encore of which freestyle to see again.

9 - 9 - 9 - 27

56 for the night.

Tom asked the audience to be silent as they came back from break.

"Aly and Mark"
Posted by Snidget on 05-20-13 at 09:33 PM
Wants to do vertical bars on a high platform.

Highlights Aly's strength. And Mark is scared of heights and he got what he asked for and is nervous.

To futuristic music.

Bruno. That was futuristic and exotic, took an incredible risk. To sync that section up there almost impossible and you did it.

Carrie Ann. She worked a pole on Madonna's tour. You never stop pushing your boundaries showcased your strength.

Len. I'm dubbing you Alexander the Great.

Psy, Wynonna and Pitbull perform.

10 - 10 - 10 - 30

61 total for the night.

Maybe I am hanging around too many pole dancers, but I was underwhelmed.

"Kellie and Derek"

Some indecision about the super sized free style. Decides to strip it down.

Dancing to Let me see beneath your beautiful.

Very nicely done.

Carrie Ann is crying and laughing at the same time. Just hugs Kellie.

Have to say, you just bared your soul on the dance floor.

Len. Good dancing, great dancing engages the heart. Emersed in the dance. Standing O from Len.

Bruno. You did a dance of spell binding beauty. It touches everybody.

Tom, if he gives you a 7 tonight I'll kill him myself.

10 - 10 - 10 - 30

Len says it should be an 11 and Bruno, for once, agrees with Len.

64 is the total for the night.

Holy CRAP, that was amazing!! They should have saved the 10s back, so they could reward that properly! Those strength moves were beyond belief!

"Should have been an 11." That's some comment coming from Len, and I agree with him. I have to give credit to Derick, too, for the Choreography.

"Zendaya and Val"

Cha cha into contemporary into some hip hop.

Since to inspire kids is the theme, get some kids.

Beauty and a Beat?

Kind of a let down after Kellie, I think any other time I would have really liked it.

Len. Oh no Cha Cha Contem, the kids right in sync, so many parts, but it all came together.

Bruno. Kids in America rejoice. What I love about you, you give a unique luminosity. Always shine through it.

Carrie Ann. Way to take a tone, showcased why a role model. Divine.

Voting at ABC.com is down.

10 - 10 - 10 - 30

65 for the night. The judges are giddy.

off to the recap of the night.

Wow, 3 excellent freestyles tonight! Ally's and Kellie's were both so original and creative.

I would be happy with any of the 3 women winning...the football guy is clearly the worst but suppose he has a big fan base.

There's something very sweet and unselfish about Val vs. Mark and Derek who are both very talented but make me gag because they're so full of themselves .
