Hard to get in the mood for recapping the Dancing, but I probably need a break from the news at least for awhile. So keep all the glitz, sequins and spray tans on this thread until the West Coast heads off to the 10 pm network news specials.

ABC news is monitoring and will break in if needed. Hopefully we can still have an entertaining night, please remember we planned stuff out before hand... uh oh, that sounds ominous.

LAST EDITED ON 04-15-13 AT 08:04 PM (EST)

Don't Stop the Party.

Max is back.

Each star/pro couple gets a brief dance as well.

"Len's Side By Side Challenge"

Other pros will join the troop for a side by side challenge.

Training with a profesional couple. Pro couple sets the standard, then dance side by side. Couple ends up on their own.

Same choreography as the pros.

Toughest test yet.

"Ingo and Kym with Tony and Emma"
Posted by Snidget on 04-15-13 at 08:19 PM
Ingo's hips well they aren't lying but they certainly aren't well spoken in the intro package.

Dancing the Cha Cha Cha

Lady Marmalade, movie version.

Oh that was painful, would not have looked so bad without Tony there.

But then I guess that is the point.

Going to do an abbreviated Judging tonight, not in the mood.

Longer routine than normal, stamina. You kept up the energy. Got the flare we need the care. Got you in a bit of a jam. Disguise a lot of technical problems. Not easy to dance with the all star champion. Watch below the belt.

Tom. I'm watching a different show in my head.

Long Tall Sally

Jacoby kept up with Max pretty well. Then took his shirt off for the rest of the dance.

Jacoby and Max, like two stallions fighting testosterone pouring everywhere. Sharp but need to point your feet. A little flat footed, but love me some Jacoby. You hammered that jive. Light up the place, gotta work on that footwork.

Jacoby hey I ran 108 in 11 seconds with these feet.

Yeah, the feet were flat, but that was one heckuva dance! Notice how he kept his toes pointed when he Skipped?

"Victor and Lindsay and Tristan and Emma"

Have to push it hard or going home.

Viennese Waltz. Victor having girlfriend drama.

Which are the dancers and which are the mannequins.

Victor really needs to pull the rib cage up to get that top line better. Seems kinda slouchy.

That was a victory. Channeled your emotions well. Nailed the grace. Foot came off the floor lifty. Len doesn't worry when there is no intent to lift. Well done. Erect, timing was good, only lost it a couple of seconds and covered it well.

I just want to tell him to STFU and practice, dammit. He's an athlete. How can he not know that working hard = getting better?

"Ali and Mark and Tony and Whitney"
Posted by Snidget on 04-15-13 at 09:01 PM
Dancing the Samba. She likes having Whitney there but Mark makes a good girl, too.

Maroon 5 - Misery.

I think your bottom is the tops. In sync. A bit of a mistake in the samba walks. Flimsy legs, but you knocked it. Sassy and Saucy. Technique is strong. Carefree attitude. Like the sex kitten. When Whitney was gone went down, if you can hold onto that.

Ali's home town is Boston. Ouch.

This was a snore for me.

Copies everything Tristin does down to the bright pink shirt.

Dancing the Quickstep
LET'S GO - TRICK DADDY

Sean what is going on. Been a bit of a lumberjack. Tonight you turned into a swan. You are back, bold and beautiful. I liked it. last week a statue, this week a pigeon.

Tom Does that mean you liked it.

Your best dance so far.

Dancing the Foxtrot
It had to be you.

What was the wierd penguin interlude?

I love the side by side challenge, you have all blossomed by working with another set of pros. What did they bleep out, or was that just my TV? That was a hot trot. put the oooo in smooth. Glamor and Humor.

She got bleeped. But, dayum, that was really good in spite of the stumble.

I thought maybe they gave a nod to the ##### Van Dyke/penguin dance in "Mary Poppins". That's what instantly came to mind for me

Dancing the Tango
Love Letter by Clairy Browne & The Bangin' Rackettes

Who replaced D.L. with a robot?

like a decaf coffee, no buzz and snap. Went for the aggression and distain and you became a rompus stomper. Brave attempt. loved the intensity and focus, you were bouncy in the side by side.

Next Monday all Stevie Wonder songs.

I switched to The Voice once DL got going. It was going to hurt. Looking at the scores, I see it did.

"Zendaya and Val with Anna and Max"
Posted by Snidget on 04-15-13 at 09:46 PM
Pours the wine and the vodka...they are dancing the Argentine Tango.

Other than a few awkward baby giraffe poses she did a great job.

Zendaya the lethal beauty. As good as Anna, lines up there with best. you are so tall, that dance killed your thighs. Every move has a story. like stylized life. Like a lemon tart. A gem of a dance.

I may have to dodge qwerty's arrows, but I thought that was fantastic. I could barely breathe through it.

"Andy and Sharna with Sasha and Emma"
Posted by Snidget on 04-15-13 at 09:58 PM
Dancing the Paso Doble.

Good move doing the swirly cape side by side. That way he really didn't have to dance much in the quartet.

Crying for another set of reasons, best entrance, cape work was pretty good. without the cape fell apart. more pasadena than paso doble but great fun. Undescribable. The attack of the killer cape. only thing missing was Cloris Leachman.

I know Andy was trying. It was obvious he practiced with that cape. It was painful.

It might have been painful, but I gave Andy all my votes. I'd rather see him survive than DL. DL is a horse's a$$ and a crybaby.

Yeah, as bad as it was, it was better than DL.

I'm with the others...Andy was a little painful to watch in the paso, but would way rather have him back than DL. I've felt sorry for Cheryl this season
