Tonight marks their 200th episode! *woohoo* With that in mind, 50 Stars will be on hand tonight, 6 of which will be guest judging them doing the dance that landed them in the top 10 of all-time... (I think it's safe to eliminate the 3 Freestyles and Apolo's.... why in a bit)
Also tonight, it's a Team Dance showdown with Olympic and DWTS champions Kristi Yamaguchi and Apolo Anton Ono each captaining a team...
Tomorrow night's Results show starts at 8:00pm and runs for 90 minutes.
Also, I will be unavailable to do the commentary live next Monday night.... due to Steelers-Bengals that night.
Sorry, I can't guarantee I can make it in time.
Pros from all 11 seasons dancing to Crazy In Love (the first song from the first episode...)
That was fab! Excitement!

Team dances are up first this time!Dancing the Cha Cha Cha to Workin' Workin' Day and Night
Kinda felt sorry with Bristol with those two professional women as it is hard to keep up with those two.
That was pretty hot! Rick really stood out for me, Bristol just kinda stood.
Scores: 8-8-8 for a total of 24 for the couples.
Okay, the teams are also doing a bit of homage to their team captain's best dances...Turns out that the drama fairy visited all parts of Team Apolo this week...
Dancing the Cha Cha Cha to Bust a Move
At least they were fair in having each team's captain's name in giant letters up on the stage...
Well, that was kinda sad after the first group. The music betrayed poor Kurt. He couldn't hold up to the pro guys.
Scores: 9-9-9 for a total of 27 to win the team dance competition!
FOUL!
What do you expect? The top 2 couples are in that team!
I liked that, Kurt was a bit problematic, but didn't seem as out of place as Bristol, at least for me.
Guest Judge: Mel B.Dance: Free Your Mind Paso Doble
I can't look.
He ain't Maks, but who knew the round little guy could get his testosterone up like that.
He totally rocked it!
This version of the song might be sung a little better than the last time they sang it...For this week the Guest Judge is score #1...
Scores: 10!-9-8-8 for a total of 35 for the dance, 59 for the night.
Guest Judge: Emmitt SmithDance: Simply Irresistable Tango
Since Anna can't understand how Kurt thinks it's hard... he takes her to the Arizona Cardinals practice to put her through some football drills for perspective...
I didn't think this was one of Emmitt's best dances, but Kurt certainly had the face.
They didn't seem to use as much of the same choreography like the first dance seemed to.I was more distracted by thinking Anna didn't seem to fit in this dance as well as Cheryl did to really notice Kurt much.
Scores: 10!-8-8-8 for a total of 34 for the night, 61 for the night.
Leprechaun ever?
I think they decided Tall Leprechaun was better than Tall Banana Mask...
are going to give a 10!what is the point?
The point is that the producers get to have their old popular stars on the show.
OK so they don't have to give a 10! no matter what.
Guest Judge: Kelly Osbourne (she looks TERRIFIC!)Dance: Trouble Viennese Waltz
Kelly is soooo cute. Don't think Bristol was equal to the task.
Sharon doesn't look amused. It was OK, but compared to how Kelly's felt and the emotion she expressed this really fell flat for me.
zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
Scores: 9-8-8-8 for a total of 33 for the dance, 57 for the night.
There goes the "guest judge gives 10" theory.
Things arent looking very positive for Bristol right now. I'd say she's almost guaranteed the lowest score unless rick really lays an egg in his individual dance. Of course she's been saved while lowest before, but yeah.
Way overscored. At this rate we will never get rid of her.
LAST EDITED ON 11-01-10 AT 10:18 PM (EST)Miss Piggy called. She wants her dress back. Thankyew.
ETA: I feel I should add this because of what I just read somewhere. This is in no way a dig at Bristol Palin, I was googling the dresses miss piggy wears to add a picture and had no idea that Bristol was being called that! To clarify, my comment is aimed at whomever is picking out these horrid dresses for this girl! They totally look like something Miss Piggy would wear when she's trying to be all glamorous. Please please please find something nicer for Bristol to wear next time! Ugh!
Guest Judge: Helio CastronevesDance: Hey! Pachuco! (The Mask) Quickstep
The dances are 'reinterpretations', which is how they're getting away with not exactly following the choreography from the previous star....
*blink blink* Eliza DushkuWow, did not know about that!
That was a lot more fun than most of Rick's dances, but he's not no Helio.
Hard for a big guy to make the quick step look sharp. I thought he did well.
Scores: 10!-9-9-9 for a total of 37 for the dance, 61 for the night.
LAST EDITED ON 11-01-10 AT 09:32 PM (EST)screwed up... look below.

Mmmaks!
I am to the point that I don't want to watch TV, I'm so sick of the election ads... The instant they disappear won't be too soon...
Scores: 9-9-10!-9 for a total of 37 for the dance, 64 for the night. (and I believe that was Len's first 10! of the season, too...)
There was an ad under my wiper when I got off work today.
and they keep appearing at the top of the page... *whimper*

LAST EDITED ON 11-01-10 AT 09:48 PM (EST)Guest Judge: Drew Lachey
Dance: Shut Up Tango
The wear and tear of the season is catching up to her... and she's getting fatigued a lot more....
That was awesome!
Started strong but she did seem to fade part way through.overall a good job.
Jennifer's whining and crying is getting on my nerves. Florence was alot older and never complained as much as Jennifer does.
I dont really care that much if she complains some as long as she comes out and performs well. Also, Florence never had to do a routine even remotely close to as hard and physical as what Jennifer does every week...
Neighbors are in heated debate about:Team: Jennifer stop whining, either quit or suck it up
Team: Oh poor dear, she's recovering from cancer, she's older, she's blah blah blah
I try to ignore all that and just watch the dancing...unless it's Maks![]()
LAST EDITED ON 11-01-10 AT 10:00 PM (EST)Scores: 10!-9-9-9 for a total of 37 for the dance, 64 for the night, tied for the lead with her Team Apolo teammate Brandy.
I thought everyone (with the exception of Bristol) did well with their dances. It's not easy to recreate someone else's dance, especially such iconic dances like Mel B.'s Paso.Bristol was definitely over scored. And I agree, Jennifer (and Derek) are getting on my nerves. Brandi is becoming more likeable.
Best line of the night was Maks correcting Brooke about his being in the finals 3 times!
The way I see it - the stars sort of break down like this: Kurt and Bristol are very nice people that are in over their heads, Brandi and Jennifer are high-strung, very needy people that do have talent, and Rick and Kyle are a bit unusual. Rick is either very robotic (almost like marching) and Kyle looks like a little kid.I'm not really sure who I am pulling for - I LIKE the likable ones - but they can't win. I DISLIKE the high maintenance ones because of their neediness. The middle two don't work for me either. Tough choices.
What I hate is seeing good dancers get the boot for people who obviously are not the quality of any previous winners, and I hate seeing good people get the boot basically because of a weak fan base when the people with the fan bases suck at dancing. We have too much of that VFTW bull$hit going on these days, and I fear it might lead to a major screwjob this season.
