Gypsy Kings and a Collegiate Dance Championship between Purdue and University of California-San Diego (UCSD) are on the program for filler tonight, as well as........

Evan: Not sure what to do about the Waltz (extreme closeup of Carrie Ann's 9 paddle next to her chest.....) Cha Cha Cha was too much future, and not enough dance.

Erin: Truly a contender during the Ballroon round, but the 80s dance notsomuch....

Chad: Now a pretender...... Tango called him out on his posture, Jive was better in showing the dance and era.....

Niecy: Also a pretender right now. Lovely Viennese Waltz, but needed more drama, Mama, for the 90s Paso Doble....... True Underdog

Nicole: Mesmerized from start to finish. 50s Paso Doble was GENIUS! Got the 2nd perfect score of the season!

Two groups: Leaders and followers.......Who's gonna advance? No Clue.

UCSD is dancing the Samba to what sounds like traditional Samba music........

ETA: Looks like voting will involve the public? I saw the 12 extension for the voting numbers with their name.......

Purdue's turn.

This sounds like it might be a multi-week competition they're doing....... and there is only 3 weeks left......?

They are very new to the team formation thing, which might hurt them.......

Dancing the Mambo to what sounds like traditional Mambo music....

Each school's logo is on the dance floor during and after their dances.......

I'd rather watch the little kids dance, if they're looking for filler....but I guess they must think this collegiate thing will get a lot of fan involvement?

Watching wee ones in national competition or on televised events doesn't sit right with me. Too much exposure too young. I'm glad that Idol and SYTYCD raised their age limits. Even the Olympics raised the age limit of competitor, not that that's a fair comparison.
