Kelly maybe be more covered up than usually for those dances

http://www.tmz.com/2009/10/05/kelly-osbourne-feels-the-burn/

She had a bad reaction to some body spray.

Tuesday was judgment night for Kathy.

Tonight is Latin Night.

LIVE, this is DWTS!

"Drink of the night"
Posted by whimsey on 10-05-09 at 08:01 PM
Drink of the night

Margaritas - frozen and on the rocks

snack if the night

chicken enchiladas, lime dusted tortilla chips, spicy salsa, mango salsa and guacamole. Of course, there is extra cheese!

"Mark and Lacey"
Posted by vince3 on 10-05-09 at 08:06 PM
Turns out that Tom's pre-stress fracture is now a stress fracture.......

Mark recovered from a slip in the middle of the dance......

Mark's too full of energy for the Rhumba, Lacey wants him to SLOW DOWN!

Dancing the Rhumba to "Don't Lie"?

"RE: Mark and Lacey"
Posted by vince3 on 10-05-09 at 08:09 PM
They got fricaseed by the judges......

Scores: 6~6~6 for a *groan*ing total of 18......

"RE: Mark and Lacey"
Posted by Snidget on 10-05-09 at 08:09 PM
Yep, "Don't Lie".

I liked that better than the judges did, I do think some of the hard from the martial arts sometimes shows up when he has a fast move.

Oh, that was his wife he was flirting with at the beginning, how cute.

"RE: Mark and Lacey"
Posted by whimsey on 10-05-09 at 08:10 PM
That was kind of flat. I expected much better from my "Chairman". He needs to learn from Giles Marini school of DWTS. Still gets my votes.

"RE: Mark and Lacey"
Posted by Lorr on 10-06-09 at 01:15 PM
Part of the problem is Lacey - she choreographs the dance around her and she should be chorepgraphing around the strengths of the celebrity.

"Joanna and Derek"
Posted by vince3 on 10-05-09 at 08:11 PM
Hair was out of control, and her footing went with it........

Joanna wants to try to spice it up for the Samba....... especially since she knows that she doesn't have the biggest fanbase in the bunch.......

Dancing the Samba to "Bom-Ba"?

Derek swung in from the audience on a stage rope onto the dance floor to start......

"RE: Joanna and Derek"
Posted by Snidget on 10-05-09 at 08:13 PM
She was a little stiff in the hips. The skirt had a lot of movement but did more of the work than her hips did for me.

"RE: Joanna and Derek"
Posted by vince3 on 10-05-09 at 08:14 PM
Complements all around with a little room for improvement, as well.....

Queen Latifa will sing twice tomorrow.....

Scores: 7~8~8 for a total of 23

"RE: Joanna and Derek"
Posted by whimsey on 10-05-09 at 08:14 PM
Oy vey, with the rope! Joanna looks more and more like a blow-up doll.

Can you tell how I feel about this couple?

"RE: Joanna and Derek"
Posted by vince3 on 10-05-09 at 08:17 PM
The question is: is it more Joanna or Derek based......

"RE: Joanna and Derek"
Posted by whimsey on 10-05-09 at 08:35 PM
Equal parts of disgust for both.

"RE: Joanna and Derek"

"Mya and Dmitry"
Posted by vince3 on 10-05-09 at 08:21 PM
Their Jive set the floor on fire, and they were co-leaders!

Dmitry's worried about Len's return, so he's trying to keep it by the book......

After Dmitry said that there was nothing in the room to inspire him, she decorated the room (and dressed herself) to set the mood.........

Dancing the Samba to "Underneath Your Clothes"

"RE: Mya and Dmitry"
Posted by Snidget on 10-05-09 at 08:22 PM
*cranks up the air conditioning*
*turns on the fan*

Is it just me, or is it hot in herre?

"RE: Mya and Dmitry"
Posted by vince3 on 10-05-09 at 08:24 PM
Carrie Ann wasn't sure if there was a lift or not, because she was mesmerized by the dance...... Len was overwhelmed by how much in the dance, which sparked another Bruno-Len fight. Bruno called it fabulous......

Design-A-Dance Update: Paso Doble to "Eye of the Tiger" with the celebrity member of the dancing couple to be determined by vote.

Scores: 10!~7~10! for a total of 27 (first 10s of the season for both Carrie Ann and Bruno!)

"RE: Mya and Dmitry"
Posted by Snidget on 10-05-09 at 08:24 PM
Grumpy Len.

"RE: Mya and Dmitry"
Posted by whimsey on 10-05-09 at 08:25 PM
Holy mackerel! Wow.

"Melissa and Mark"
Posted by vince3 on 10-05-09 at 08:30 PM
They had the get up and go, but it got out of control.......

Melissa feels that she's a little out of touch to the Carnival/party atmosphere because she's a mom of 2......

Mark's bringing down the hammer of getting it done....... and trying to get her to dig deep......

Dancing the Samba to "Turn Me On"?

Who ordered the Tiki torches?

"RE: Melissa and Mark"
Posted by vince3 on 10-05-09 at 08:32 PM
LAST EDITED ON 10-05-09 AT 08:33 PM (EST)

Len was complimentary, but she still had a couple of issues. Both Bruno and Carrie Ann see the improvement, but Carrie Ann also sees that she still has some fear......

Scores: 6~6~7 for a total of 19

"RE: Melissa and Mark"
Posted by Snidget on 10-05-09 at 08:33 PM
Flames can be a bad thing, be careful!.

*flashbacks to putting out my sister in law's sister in law's dress at my bro's wedding*

Melissa's starting to show some potential. It is nice to see improvement.

"RE: Melissa and Mark"
Posted by whimsey on 10-05-09 at 08:33 PM
WTF, tikki torches? That was kinda flat as well. Wasn't this the same dance and song that Melissa Rycroft did? And did better? Judges are right.

"Louis and Chelsie"
Posted by vince3 on 10-05-09 at 08:39 PM
He was praised for his energy, but they felt that he could do better (more dancing, less tricks.....)

Louis was looking forward to the Rhumba, the sexiest of the dances....... and knows a lot about it.....

Dancing the Rhumba to "Total Eclipse of the Heart" (about time I knew one from the first word.....)

"RE: Louis and Chelsie"
Posted by Snidget on 10-05-09 at 08:40 PM
Oh my, little hobbit boy is all grown up.

*fans self*

"RE: Louis and Chelsie"
Posted by whimsey on 10-05-09 at 08:42 PM
Young man, you are going to have to stay after school for a bit and... explain.... a few things.

The hobbit gets my ring.

"RE: Louis and Chelsie"
Posted by vince3 on 10-05-09 at 08:42 PM
Standing ovation from the crowd. The chemistry was definitely there, but Bruno saw that there was a little more dance parts to be done...... and Len had some hectic crankypants complaints.....

Lambada will one of the dances next week, possibly with the other four new dances.......

Scores: 8~5~7 for a rollercoaster 20

"RE: Louis and Chelsie"
Posted by Snidget on 10-05-09 at 08:43 PM
*Snort* Beethoven was a hack.

Who peed in Len's porridge?

"Debi and Maksim"
Posted by vince3 on 10-05-09 at 08:49 PM
They brought love and hate to their Tango (to a very funky version of a song that caused Snidge to *twitch*.....)

Maks brings in Mel B, who was in the Bottom 2 in Week 4 of her Season 5, as an inspiration that being in the Bottom 2 can be an inspiration......

Dancing the Samba to "Love Is In the Air"

WTF? Rainbow Boa hip skirt on Debbie? Oofa.......

"RE: Debi and Maksim"
Posted by whimsey on 10-05-09 at 08:50 PM
Oh my. What can one say about Debi.

"RE: Debi and Maksim"
Posted by Snidget on 10-05-09 at 08:51 PM
They murdered a Rainbow Brite Muppet for that "skirt"

No idea how they danced, I'm too traumatized.

"RE: Debi and Maksim"
Posted by whimsey on 10-05-09 at 08:54 PM
Rainbow Brite Muppet

snort ... snort ... collapse

"RE: Debi and Maksim"
Posted by vince3 on 10-05-09 at 08:52 PM
Debi was a little dizzy......

Carrie Ann tells her to watch her expression on her turns, and Bruno says that that she got disconnected a few times, and it derailed her a little bit......

Scores: 6~5~6 for a total of 17

Sammy-bot wonders if Len has more than a 5 paddle......

"Pauler???"
Posted by DearAbby on 10-05-09 at 08:52 PM
Is anyone watching this on DVR? I thought I saw Paula doing her seal clap after Mya and Dmitri performed, but I haven't noticed her since.

"RE: Pauler???"
Posted by Snidget on 10-05-09 at 08:55 PM
I'll keep an eye out, I'm live on DWTS performance night.

"RE: Pauler???"
Posted by Snidget on 10-05-09 at 09:02 PM
Yep. Pauler, Tom sitting next to her.

"RE: Pauler???"
Posted by DearAbby on 10-05-09 at 09:04 PM
Hehehe. She said Len Goodman is Len Badman tonight!

"Donny and Kym"
Posted by vince3 on 10-05-09 at 08:58 PM
Tease before the break about can the prim and proper Donny become a Latin Lover? Donny's not so sure.......

He's worried about not having enough passion...... he's having self-esteem issues with this one.....

Dancing the Rhumba to "Endless Love" (I think they've found my kind of music, 80's!)

"RE: Donny and Kym"
Posted by whimsey on 10-05-09 at 08:59 PM
Afraid to look.

"RE: Donny and Kym"
Posted by Snidget on 10-05-09 at 09:00 PM
*mute button where the frick did I leave that mute button*

Did Donny just dip Bruno?

One I got the wretched noise turned off I could watch, it was pretty good.

"Samantha"
Posted by whimsey on 10-05-09 at 09:04 PM
Did she just say:

"You should have gave him tongue"

Finally she gets the channel right.

"RE: Samantha"
Posted by Snidget on 10-05-09 at 09:05 PM
Yes, yes she did.

Who knew Samantha could ad lib?

Either that or someone's really fast on the teleprompter.

"RE: Samantha"
Posted by qwertypie on 10-06-09 at 00:01 AM
Almost peed myself with that comment.

"RE: Donny and Kym"
Posted by vince3 on 10-05-09 at 09:02 PM
Len says that Donny needed to straighten his legs out.....

Bruno says that it was a little airy-fairy, which brings Donny over to seduce him! Tom was afraid to have them "take it outside" but that might get scary...... Donny's afraid that he won't be let back into Utah!

Carrie Ann's flabbergasted, but does get out that the musicality took a hit.......

Scores: 7~7~7 for a total of 21

Samantha quips that Donny should've slipped Bruno tongue....

Lance Bass and Paula's in the crowd, and Paula rips into both Bruno and Len, and maybe she and Carrie Ann should make out! Yowza!

"Michael and Anna D"
Posted by vince3 on 10-05-09 at 09:05 PM
He's getting irritated that Anna's trying to teach them the next step before he learns the previous step! So, Anna decides to break it down on a whiteboard so that he can get it down.......

Apparently both the producers and Tom's doctors, afraid of him really hurting himself with that stress fracture, are asking him to withdraw from the competition.........

"RE: Michael and Anna D"
Posted by Snidget on 10-05-09 at 09:10 PM
It was OK, nothing special, but just OK.

"RE: Michael and Anna D"
Posted by whimsey on 10-05-09 at 09:11 PM
Again, a little flat. Had it's moments, but flat.

"RE: Michael and Anna D"
Posted by vince3 on 10-05-09 at 09:12 PM
Dancing the Samba to "Hey Little Thing"

Bruno says that the face and charm were there, but the footwork/rhythm wasn't there...... Carrie Ann says that he's not dancing the right size for him..... Len tries to be encouraging......

Scores: 5~4~5 for a back to the bottom 14

"RE: Michael and Anna D"
Posted by Snidget on 10-05-09 at 09:14 PM
What two decent ad lib quips from Samantha.

Something about Len unfortunately does have something other than a 5 paddle.

"Natalie and Alec"
Posted by vince3 on 10-05-09 at 09:19 PM
Len told her last week that if she relaxed, she could fly, and it captivated Carrie Ann.

Natalie's worrying about being sexy during the Rhumba because she's having major giggle fits and turning red!

Alec calls in Edyta, his wife, to teach her to be sexy without giggling......

Dancing the Rhumba to "I Cann Feel It Coming In the Air Tonight"

There was a possible lift on the Giant Swing that they had.....

"RE: Natalie and Alec"
Posted by Snidget on 10-05-09 at 09:20 PM
That song is not a sex song. Almost as bad as "Every Breath You Take" as a Wedding song.

Once I got past the song she did a good job with it.

"RE: Natalie and Alec"
Posted by whimsey on 10-05-09 at 09:21 PM
She is much prettier that they make her up as. She is a beautiful girl, but they seem to put her in makeup and wardrobe that accentuates her angular face and square body. She deserves better.

"RE: Natalie and Alec"
Posted by vince3 on 10-05-09 at 09:21 PM
If there was a lift, Carrie Ann missed it, and the judges all loved it!

Scores: 9~8~9 for a total of 26 and 2nd place so far!

"Chuck and Anna"
Posted by Snidget on 10-05-09 at 09:32 PM
6~5~6 17 out of 30.

First time I felt he was really dancing. Still too stiff in the upper body for me.

"Chuck and Anna T"
Posted by vince3 on 10-05-09 at 09:32 PM
Carrie Ann and Len both loved his 'All Man' Tango, but Baz cautioned that Len would've had a hissy fit about it.....

Chuck took himself and his daughter to get a pedicure to bring out his feminine side......

Dancing the Samba to "Oaria Raio"?

There was a martial art kick in there.........

Scores: 6~5~6 for a total of 17.....

(having trouble posting this....)

"RE: Chuck and Anna T"
Posted by whimsey on 10-05-09 at 09:34 PM
I grinned like a fool through the entire dance.

"Aaron and Karina"
Posted by vince3 on 10-05-09 at 09:34 PM
Their Muppet Show Quickstep lit up the crowd and judges, but it came with a warning that being so good, so fast might have them peaking too soon...... and he's overperforming in practice.....

Dancing the Rhumba to "Is That True"?

Did Aaron raid Mark Decostas's wardrobe for that powder blue outfit?

"RE: Aaron and Karina"
Posted by Snidget on 10-05-09 at 09:36 PM
Jennifer Hudson - Spotlight

That was OK, but nothing really special.

"RE: Aaron and Karina"
Posted by vince3 on 10-05-09 at 09:38 PM
Lacked fluidity, and he was overexaggerating it a bit..... and he also lacked musicality, partially from his arms being a little out of control......

Scores: 8~6~7 for a total of 21

"RE: Aaron and Karina"
Posted by whimsey on 10-05-09 at 09:39 PM
Again, flat. He could do so much better.

"RE: Aaron and Karina"
Posted by qwertypie on 10-06-09 at 00:37 AM
I think Aaron grabbed something from the women'a dressing room. That was 'orrible.

"Tom and Cheryl"
Posted by vince3 on 10-05-09 at 09:42 PM
His footwork fell to pieces, and the ending nearly had a crash and burn.....

Tom's practices were robotic....... and now he truly has a stress fracture, and Tom doesn't want to give up, but now his left foot is now hurting as well.....

Producers and doctor are both advising him to withdraw.......

Now he's got a stress fracture in both feet!

He's gonna dance, apparently!

He's in a red and white striped shirt with the Republican Elephant on the back, and she's in a blue and white stars dress.......

"RE: Tom and Cheryl"
Posted by Snidget on 10-05-09 at 09:48 PM
and a democratic donkey on the skirt.

Well he made it through. Doesn't have the good sense God gave a turnip to know when to up and quit, but all things considered he did OK.

"RE: Tom and Cheryl"
Posted by vince3 on 10-05-09 at 09:49 PM
Dancing the Samba to "Why Can't We Be Friends?"

Oh! Cheryl's Blue Star Dress has the Democratic Donkey on it! There was also a slight Cash Rain, I think........

They even gussied up the Judge's Desk for this one!

The entertainment was there, but the stress fracture caused issues with footwork, and the judges give him credit for performing, but they have to judge on the performance......

Three experts in Statistics: Steve Woz, Fantasy Football Expert, and a Chimpanzee! will help predict the winner......

Scores: 6~4~5 for a total of 15, which isn't last.

"Kelly and Louis"
Posted by vince3 on 10-05-09 at 09:56 PM
Her Tango fell apart, and she hated the looks that everyone had after they saw it fall apart, and she was definitely depressed. Her confidence is back to low again...... Louis doesn't want her to judge herself too harshly.....

Dancing the Samba to "Disco Stick"?

"RE: Kelly and Louis"
Posted by Snidget on 10-05-09 at 09:58 PM
LAST EDITED ON 10-05-09 AT 10:04 PM (EST)

She's back.

She did a good job tonight.

ETA: Lady Gaga - Love Game

"RE: Kelly and Louis"
Posted by vince3 on 10-05-09 at 09:59 PM
I think Len has nailed it: The key to her dancing is her confidence. If she loses that, it all goes to heck........ this week she didn't let a couple of stumbles get her down.....

Scores: 7~6~7 for a total of 20

"RE: Kelly and Louis"
Posted by whimsey on 10-05-09 at 09:59 PM
That was cute. She may get a few of my pretend votes.
