"DWTS#9, Episode 4 ECST"
Posted by vince3 on 09-28-09 at 07:47 PM
So we now get to see all the dancers back under one roof. I imagine that the "relay" twist that they debuted last week will be taking a break for a couple of weeks, since it'll take the whole two hours to get every one in, barely.........Second week of Dancing, and we already have a couple of contenders, and a couple of those that are on the engangered species list, due to their lousy dancing last week....... at least one of which got saved by their fanbases........

"Chuck and Anna T"
Posted by vince3 on 09-28-09 at 08:21 PM
Man they're moving fast tonight.....Len recommended that Chuck get in touch with his feminine side..... but Anna shoots that idea down for this week because not only is Len not gonna be there, but also the Tango's a masculine dance!
Anna suggests that they incorporate some of Chuck's Ultimate Fighting moves into the dance, but one of the first ones he tried was a modified throw, which would definitely be counted as a lift, so that won't work....... they try some grappling moves instead, and that seems to work better......
Dancing the Tango to *shrug*
They had a starting look of a fighter getting into the ring/octagon, and then he tossed off his elbow pads..... Also, he's got a temporary image of a dancer on the right side of his head..... by the mowhawk.....
"RE: Chuck and Anna T"
Posted by Snidget on 09-28-09 at 08:23 PM
LAST EDITED ON 09-28-09 AT 08:24 PM (EST)There is something odd he does with his shoulders and posture that I just don't enjoy. If he'd just relax the upper body rather than hold it so stiff I think he'd be so much better.
Although relaxing into the dance posture isn't always easy, but until you do it just can be too stiff and awkward.

I loved this version of "Roxanne" in Moulin Rouge(sp). I woul dhave loved to see Mel B and Maks do this one. Or Joey Fatone and Cheryl.

I love the movie version of the song, but this attempted imitation of the movie version was just lame. The band here was far better than the singer.

"Aaron and Karina"
Posted by vince3 on 09-28-09 at 09:03 PM
After being the male leader last week the pressure is on, and it came to a couple of boiling points last week.....Dancing the Quickstep to "The Muppet Show Theme" which is why the bit started with Animal giving off his version of a drumroll, and then...... Bruno gets bugle blasted by Gonzo after the dance is over......
That explains Aaron's green tuxedo.... it's to mimic Kermit's look.
"RE: Aaron and Karina"
Posted by Snidget on 09-28-09 at 09:03 PM
Best of the night so far. He really has a lot of potential, but you start off this good it can be hard to show improvement.
"RE: Aaron and Karina"

A lot rougher than last week, and she was definitely got a bit stiff and seemed over thought.
"RE: Kelly and Louis"
Posted by vince3 on 09-28-09 at 09:11 PM

While in rehearsals on Monday with her Iron Chef star and partner Mark Dacascos, Schwimmer "severely strained" her hip flexors and abductors.
Those muscle groups serve to flex the hip and pelvic regions, and lift them away from the body.
"Mya and Dmitry"
Posted by vince3 on 09-28-09 at 09:36 PM

Dancing the Jive to what is probably another selection from Moulin Rouge..... "I've Noticed You Around"?
"RE: Mya and Dmitry"
