Was one of the four singers that redid Lady Marmalade for the Moulin Rouge movie.

She has a couple of other songs that I've heard of, but that is the one song I know her most for.

Mark Dacascos - is the "Chairman" (Host) of the Food Network's "Iron Chef America" he is also into martial arts. It will be interesting to see a different persona for him.

Debi mazar - she been in a lot of movies and TV shows. However, we know her mostly from L.A. Law

When I first heard this list, I thought of him as a potential finalist but not a winner, because the judges would want someone more famous to win.

I love him...but had no idea what his name was! I have seen him do his back flips as the "nimble chairman" on Iron Chef, so it should be good to see him dance!

Melissa Joan Hart might have one of the most divers fanbases, but she hasn't been seen on TV for a good number of years, part of which she's become a mother of a few kiddos of her own......

Until someone said it, it didn't click into my head who Mark Dacascos was, Iron Chef America's "Chairman" It'll be interesting to see him in situations that doesn't necessarily call for either the pompous gourmet, or intense Chairman moods.....

Joanna Krupa, I wonder if this is part of a consolation package due to T.O. abandoning ship on her to head to Bills' OTAs.........

Michael Irvin..... jerk he may be, but he could also have the moves...... WR is a position prone to great dexterity, even if he's been out of football long enough to get into the Hall of Fame........

Chuck Lidell.... He could either be very good, or Steffi Graf bad, depending on how he takes to his lessons.....

Donnie Osmond.... *MEGATWITCH*

Kelly Osbourne..... Regardless on her abilities, this probably guarantees one thing: appearances by Sharon and/or Ozzy, possibly also either her or Ozzy performing, as well....

Mya, another one that might perform later in the season after her elimination........

16 dancers this year...... they're definitely gonna have to mine some more pros for this crew...... besides our Pro wannabe winner from last season.....

Most likely to forget where they are on a live show: Macy Gray
Most likely to have someone in the audience forget it is a live show and try to cut in so he can dance with his little girl: Kelly Osbourne
Most likely to overdose on spray tan: Donny Osmond
Most likely to not be recognized even after their intro package: 1/2 the cast
Least likely to have their ex in the audience: Ashley Hamilton

I'm a Republican, but when DeLay was a concresscritter he could be real jerk sometimes, so I have mixed feelings on him. I'll probably only root for him if he's good at dancing. But for the most part I'll be in "anybody but Donny Osmond" mode.

Usually the pairings start leaking closer to production, but I do think they have an announcement for that. Gotta spread out the press releases, you know.

What I'm worried about is who is going to get some the four new dances I've seen them talking about.

the Bolero, the Charleston, the Two Step and the Lambada

There are some of those people I do not want to see Lambada.

The Lambada!! I didn't realize that was still a pertinent dance. I thought it only was around for about 4 months sometime in the 80's. Why not add Salsa as a dance in the standard reportoire.
(After Lambada, maybe we can see a Macarena).

I just read that Maxim is working with Debi Mazer, Karina with Aaron Carter, Mya with Dimitri and Cheryl with Tom Delay.
I think that I heard that Donnie is with Kim Johnson, but not sure about that.

(so Cheryl goes from Giles to Delay)

So Macy Gray is another Master P. Pretty disappointing. I'm kind of surprised that Ashley Hamilton is so bad also.
