I'll be watching, and I'm bracing for another Cheryl win. Gilles is ok, but compared to the women "celebs", he seems to do little more than pose while Cheryl does all the dancing. I have to hand it to her, she is so good that I feel she distracts the judges from his lack of content. Even when they do notice, he still gets overly pimped. I don't get it. *yawn*

No, they danced it to "Baila, Baila". I know because I saw Katee & Joshua dance to it in Season 3 of So You Think You Can Dance. And Katee & Joshua danced the samba better than Chuck did (Julianne's a pro, of course).

I think she really let loose and had some fun with that. Much more than she usually does.
She finally came into her own. Shawn was excellent! Her form and her body match - at the end of the season, she out shone Mark. Still don't think she should win,though.

Hey I'm here on the left coast. The actual show doesn't even come on for another hour and 20 minutes...I've been checking in here for more than one season to find out the results. Just wanted to say thanks for the updates! I'm rooting for Gille for first and Shawn for second. Melissa got on my nerves quite some time ago and Ty did not leave soon enough for me! I will say that he was way more entertaining than I thought he would be!Thanks again and after tonight, I'll "see" y'all next season!

I'm a little surprised at that, but I was pretty sure they weren't winning.I really was totally prepared to hate her as a contestant on this show and she won me over and I'm glad she made it to the end.

What annoyed me more than anything was Mark winning again. That makes 5 seasons in a row to the Triplets (Mark, Derek & Julianne). I wish they would all take next season off. I am so tired of them winning every season. And Derek rushes out and they hoist Mark in the air. Once again the Star gets ignored while the Triplets celebrate like it is all about them. Since they keep adding new Pros maybe they could omit Julianne, Derek and Mark next season.

Well, that sucks. They've always been wayyyy down on my favorites list. Never even in the top five.
I am shocked. Never underestimate the power of the gold medal. Shawn was cute, and did improve over the last couple episodes, but the best overall? I placed her 3rd.I really thought Cheryl had it in the bag. The judges pimped Gilles fron day 1, even though, IMO, he didn't do nearly as much dancing as the women stars. He did show great character, but so did Cloris Leachman.
I have a soft spot for Tony, and really wanted him to get the win over Cheryl and Mark. I think he got unfairly criticized by the judges all season. They really seemed to nitpick his routines, and his partner.
Gilles and Cheryl wuz robbed.I can't believe Shawn won. She was merely o.k. in any of the dances I saw, imo.
Someone should have told Mark to remove his hands from over his mouth after they won. He looked almost horrified, like he knew it was really the wrong choice. And he wasn't even standing near Shawn.

Oh well, it's not like it matters or anything. All the stars get terrific exposure just by being on the show.

Totally agree. Gilles should have won by a mile. Damn gymnast voters!!I am sad for Gilles...but he is a man of great character and I am sure he can see this for what it really is...a popularity contest that can be easily rigged by certain sectors! BAH!
And yes, I did see how Mark got lifted RIGHT AWAY and it was another minute or two before anyone thought to do that for Shawn. She did work hard..so I am happy for her...but yes, some of the pros do think it is all about them! YIKES!
