"DWTS#8, Episode 5, ECST"

Well, it's time for another Dance-off, and it might be a battle of the injured Steve's tonight. Steve Woz is practically guaranteed to be in the dance-off, due to his 10 total last night. The odds-on favorites for the other spot is either Steve-O and Denise due to them having the lowest scores of the remaining dancers on the judges leaderboard.....

Hall and Oates is one of the musical guests tonight, Adele is the other.

The judges did not look happy about Woz being safe.

The judges have no one to blame but themselves. I thought there might be a bit of a voter backlash after Len & Bruno lit into him so unneccessarily. So what if he's an egregiously terrible dancer - there's no need to be so nasty about it on air.

I thought the same thing -- haven't they learned from prior seasons that if they are overly critical or harsh to a contestant, it stirs up the pity factor? They should have given him the low scores, and just mildly pointed out that between his complete lack of dance ability and various injuries, he isn't able to keep up with the other dancers.

For as long as he's around, I'll just continue to fast forward through his routines.

Woz might be around for awhile. His fans are organized.

...And Wozniak's fans seem to think they're lucky to be watching him.

"With Woz, I think what you're getting is real entertainment, and to me isn't that what Dancing With the Stars is all about?" said Chris Harrington, founder of the website VoteWoz.com.

Harrington's Vote Woz twitter page has more than 60,000 members.

I love her. That voice is truly haunting.

Considering the gap that Steve Woz was away from the others, him not being in the dance-off might be a blessing to those that would've been in it against him.......

Who's safe: Steve-O/Lacey!!!!!! (that's the two bottom scores safe!) and Ty/Chelsie

Who's in the dance-off: Holly/Dmitry and Denise/Maksim

All the Steve's are safe.

Never would have guessed that!

Denise is acting almost like she wants to go home. She seems quite happy and doesn't care. Belinda was like this last week.

Heh Maybe she's just relieved to escape without injury?

Holly/Dmitry

Dancing the Samba to "Belly Dancer", and that lift was still there......... Carrie didn't think so, however.....

Scores: 6~6~6 for a total of 18, a point of improvement (Carrie not penalizing for a lift this time....)

Denise/Maksim

Dancing the Samba to "Kicking and Screaming" or "Picture" (I forget...)

Scores: 6~7~7 for a total of 20 (Producers say that she wrote 7.... which would be a 21), so a 4 point improvement (5 points if the paddle was wrong....) The difference from last night is Len and Bruno both had 5s last night....

Odds are very good for Holly getting the red-light special after the break, I think......

I really don't see how Denise was sooooo much better dancing, however she did seem to be a bit less scared and that she had a bit of fun.

The couple that is eliminated is.....

*heartbeat music*

Denise/Maks?!?!?!? Man, that must've been some gap in voting that Holly had.......

From what I remember of their reality TV shows from the clips on The Soup I think Holly may be the more likable of the two so might have more fans that would vote.

At this point it comes down to popularity. Especially since they were both painful to watch. Not an ounce of rhythm between them. Yikes.

I was kinda surprised at how terrible they both were. Either one deserved to leave.
