"Who will be on next season?"

Posted by Loree on 12-16-08 at 05:36 PM
I heard on TV that there is speculation that Stevie Wonder will do DWTS this season. He is supposedly in talks with the show because he wants to do it.

Any other tips who might be on the new season?

The ABC show “Dancing With the Stars” has proved that ice skaters make great ballroom dancers (Season 4 and6winners Apolo Anton Ohno and Kristi Yamaguchi) and octogenarians can still have a lot of cleavage (Season 7’s Cloris Leachman). Tonight some of the pro and celebrity dancers from the competition come to Scottrade Center to show their moves. Let's take a look at some of the pros who will be here. Critique the celeb dancers

Toni Braxton, Lance Bass, Marlee Matlin and Maurice Green are the celebrity dancers featured "Dancing with the Stars: The Tour." We asked two local professionals — Lee Nolting, artistic director of COCAdance and director of student recruitment and the preprofessional program, and Mimi MacDonald, COCAdance program specialist-instructor — to watch videos of these stars’ performances on the ABC program to see who has the most promise. How about the Cindy McCain rumor now circulating? I could see this happening. She is very attractive (too much for John IMO), and kind of has that plastic face that some of the older women have had. She looks like she must be active, because she is in great shape.

I heard on an entertainment show that Cindy had been approached. But John didn't want her to do it.

I wonder if this had anything to do with it

(kind of a cross-thread, but everytime I hear about Cindy on DWTS, I can't help but think of this)

Oh yikes.

I dunno if I can handle that, even though they will limit the amount of time she has to talk.

So I should get the tequila ready everytime Samantha Harris has to interview her?

Not sure if that would be enough.

Not sure if Steve Adler on a heroin binge in a Sober House would be enough.

"Donny Osmond?"

Asked by his TV hostess if, like his sister, he'd ever consider doing Dancing, the former teen idol, 51, flashed his trademark smile and said, "Well, I guess I am making an announcement. I'll say I am seriously considering doing it, let's put it that way."

Never one for a poker face, Osmond added with a laugh, "I guess I just let the cat out of the bag."

I am watching The Bonnie Hunt show right now. Donny and Marie are on it. And yes, Donny is talking like he is doing DWTS. I'm not sure I can handle another season of Osmond mania.

I'm watching The View. and they just teased a story, saying "watch to see who's going to make Dancing With the Stars a little bit rock and roll" which definitely points to Donny Osmond (She's a little bit country, he's a little bit rock and roll...). Dear.cod.no. I can't handle more Osmondmania. She couldn't get voted off fast enough for me last season.

ACK!!!!!!

I wonder who they will partner him with. I hope it is a dancer I like. Because they will definitely be around till Final 3.

I have no idea who this person is. But if he is disgusting hopefully none of his fans watch DWTS.
