Hopefully the show will go back to its original, human-interest angle format. It would be great for the show, and great for boxing, if they were able to do something like this with the heavyweight class and tie it in with one of the boxing associations to guarantee a title shot for the winner. You get the potential of growing your fan base for the sport and lots of pub for your unknown champ (I have no idea who the champ is), and you do it in the weight-class that is the crown jewel of boxing.

Finally, by guaranteeing a title shot you get the real contenders to participate in the show.

It seems to be a win-win-win.
