That's pretty cool of you, man. The incident with Najai really touched my heart, so this is really appreciated.

Sorry for your loss but you have nothing to feel bad about. You left a legacy for yourself on the show. From the first episode you endeared yourself to everybody because of your heart and your total belief in yourself. You picked out Manfredo, went out there and beat him just like you said you would. That was some down sh*t. And all with quiet class, that's what I think really stood out for people.

Anyhow, take care and good luck in your future. (Maybe we can hook up a sparring session sometime lol.)

Alfonso....I just want to start off saying that from the first show of the Contender, I didn't like you. You beat my guy Manfredo and I was totally bummed!!! I liked Peter because I thought that he was a great boxer, a terrific father and a wonderful husband...which was refreshing since boxers have been perceived as so many other things in the past. Then Peter was gone and I started to like someone else on the show..the one person I never thought that I would root for-YOU!!! I am a girl that has never really been into boxing because of the blood and all that icky stuff (haha), but after watching The Contender, I have a new perspective of what how a boxer really lives. When Peter came back, I must say that I couldn't wait to watch you all fight. Then after seeing you for many weeks, I didn't know who I would root for. Last Sunday, I was a nervous wreck (why? I don't know), scared to watch either of you get beat. Then you went up to Manfredos' family and shook their hands.....you are a man of class. After the fight I thought that you were amazing. You went into the locker room of the man who had just beaten you and congratulated him and wished him luck in the final. There aren't too many guys in that house that I could see doing that.

So, my point is that you touched so many people across the U.S. that watched this show. You are an amazing person and I wish you so much success in where ever the road may take you. So from a girl in southern Ohio, Good luck to you and your family...God Bless!!!
