If you are buying dead shellfish, check the meat before you leave the store. Or, better yet, don't buy it already dead in the first place, that tells you there that it is out of season.
If you are cooking red meat, ask each guest how they like theirs done, when in doubt never put blood on someones plate.
Appetizers should be able to be picked up with your fingers and not leave much mess when done so. This would not include a whole juicy stuffed tomato.
Do I even need to mention the warm champagne.
And I know the mime wasn't their choice but they should have specified he stay out of the direct dining table area.

Michelle did have awesome desserts and is a great baker, but she should have stuck with that and not try to take over the rest of it as well.

And let me just say that while this is a competition and they all want to show off their own talents, why oh why can't they sit down, decide on food, drink, decor, etc., delegate the tasks and each person get theirs done right. Both episodes showed chaos, confusion and lack of teamwork. I don't care what their abilities or game plan are, the entire team looks bad when one of them screws up. I want to send all of them to their rooms without desert.

<delegate the tasks

Ah, but that would mean the show is about teamwork, and these are DAWS, with no incentive for any one person to shine.

The bit about lying about the flour is a good example. Too bad the teams can't penalize a non-contributor or a saboteur in some way.

Everyone is entitled to my opinion.
