Just found this article and found some things interesting:

*TBS sent letters to people that give a lot of money to charities in order to find their millionaire or so says Melissa.

*The couple was contacted last June. So, TBS either wanted them for the first one or was at least thinking of doing a part 2.

*The show took 3 weeks to film and was filmed in September of last year.

A little incite to the casting- Both seasons were cast at the same time, with only a four day difference in filming at the same location. I was told around the 4th of July that I had gotten the party, but that they weren't sure which season. They said that they wanted the "larger than life" and "more interesting" personalities for the second season. Their logic was that the first would do fine on it's own for being the new premiere, but that the second would need more interesting people to hold audience attention. They told me in August that I would be on season 2. Even though it was a compliment, I would have rather be on season 1, because the first season guys always have a better chance of going on. However I am glad to have avoided the evil Donna and got the hot Donna.

hey vols...... did you see how Gilligan ZAC cuddled with maryann Mandi, on the professors lap? That was interesting....

From what they told me, I was the only person on my cast who auditioned. Everyone else was found by some of the producers. For me it was just luck, I was at a really low point in my life, had nothing to do and someone mentioned it to me. I didn't have anything to do after work, so I went down town just to watch it and figured that while I was there I might as well audition for the professor since I was a biology student. Come to find out he had to have a PHD, I went for the only one I was qualified to be.

Yeah batts...I did notice!
