Random notes.

#1. Okay, Dabo: there's your fast motion. Happy? Or depressed because it was the Gingers in swimsuits that were sped up? 'Relieved' is also an option, because that challenge probably would have taken about fifteen minutes to watch in real time.

#2. I'm with ToddE: the editing is starting to develop all the subtlety of a falling anvil. (By the way, did you know the sound of six anvils falling is 'Pagong!') Between the gentle nudges and the idiot edit's endless precaps, it's a wonder they had even two seconds of film time left to show the hurricane they'd been promoting all episode. Bad, bad TBS! Watching reality show contestants being blown out to sea == good!

#3. Repeat after me: 'Hold bucket up over head. Align with spigot.'

There. You are now smarter than both Gilligans. Combined.

#4. Mary Ann Kate made a good point. (Surprise!) Are the Stearns going to count as one vote or two, assuming this thing comes down to some kind of vote in the first place? It would be more in the spirit of the show (vomit) to make them count as one -- which means it's time to drag out the tiebreaker. Oh, and ToddE is probably right again: Immunity is out there, and it's probably represented by the life preserver.

#5. Gooner's rear or Gus' torso. Pick one to view for five minutes straight.

#6. They put that little 'Goodbye to Donna' sequence in there just to give Vols a jumpstart, right?

Man is this young man not so smart.

I wish I could remember some of his comments now - I was rolling on the floor laughing last night at his stupidity.

Next week - he outs his alliance. -

TVG still lists another episode tonight opposite Lost.

Gilligan Gooner was a bit too crude sometimes for my taste, but the guy is just about the dimmest bulb I've ever seen on a reality show. Too bad he didn't make the cut.

The fakey run-from-hurricane scenes with the same lightning bolts they've used for 40 years ... yep, that's reality alright.

Gooner, Gooner, Gooner. If you just set the bucket on the center of your head your not going to get and water in it. I couldn't tell if the team mates were not allowed to point this out, or if they just choose not to point it out.

The broadcast in my area didn't censor anything. I saw Gooner's ugly butt, and heard Lovey talk about flashing her T1Ts, there were also a couple of other usually bleeped words on the broadcast. I thought that was odd, even for cable, since it is intended to a be a family program.

It would be kind of nice to know what the rules of the game were. The longer the rules go unknown, the bigger advantage the Millionaires have. While watching, I got the idea that a 'couples' version of Survivor 'might' be interesting. Then again, mabye not.

I suspect a win by either the Millionaires or Rachel Ward would produce a kind of an emotional let down. (since they don't really need the money) I wouldn't be surprised that if either won, that they offered to split the money with the other contestants.

I would like to see the Skipper or the professor win - anyone else would be a huge dissapointment.

I don't want the Skipper to win simply because he never had to compete in a head-to-head to become the Skipper. He got the part by default because the other guy got ill.

We weren't censored, either. When Gooner mooned the other team, I said "OMH, they just showed his *ss". Shocked, I tell you, shocked!!!

Just FYI, the FCC removed the word T1TS from it's banned list just about a year ago. I found that out from watching the Chappel show. Dave Chappel pointed out that the word was now OK to say on TV then ran a skit where he said the word like a hundred times.

I personally didn't see either incident as I was running in and out of the house cooking steaks on the grill last night. Can't say I'm that upset about missing goober's behind.

I would have much preferred if they had shown T1Ts and said A@@. Oh, wait, Gooner did say A@@, twenty times.
