I adore this show but I honestly think Fox dropped the ball on how to promote this show. And while I adore Richard he is not the blowhard spokesperson they needed. He is very quiet and gentile in that British way. Donald Trump he is NOT! Thank God.

As for speculation on being canceled.. Well we are heading into holidays and the major networks go into re-runs meaning people looking for something else may stumble on to this show. And even if they don't the filming is complete and its in the bag so they will likely dump and run several episodes at a time or move it to lose it as they did with the Casino. Which is unfortunate because this show is not that piece of crap-on-a-stick...

I agree they did not promote it well. Sad to say, Americans seem extra parochial these days and are not turned on by a Brit accent. His laid-back personality, while a good one, is also not the thing quick cuts are made of.

Plus? Hot air balloons lack sex appeal over here and are not considered particularly "thrilling", even if they are Branson's sort-of trademark.

Sex sells, Virgin doesn't. They should have showed more of the Hot Women falling and fighting with eachother. I sure hope they don't start showing the episodes at random times just to get it over with. That is so confusing for those of us who do want to watch the show!
