I think it is quite comical that Bree is so "righteously" opposed to engaging in a distinct form of sexual behavior with her husband (namely spanking for one). Yet has no qualms with spanking her neighbor children. She is so utterly horrified that her husband enjoys being spanked and dominated in the bedroom and wants no one to know about it. Yet she is so dominant in their relationship "outwardly" on the show anyways. Is there something to be said for the two juxtaposed positions?

I can see Bree's position. In Bree's mind, sex is something intimate and beautiful. Spanking is a form of punishment. And in her mind punishment and sex are like oil and water.
