I can't wait to watch the show tonight! There won't be a new one on for a few weeks. I am figuring they are going to have some sort of cliff hanger I guess you could say.

Wooohooo....a new show. I missed last weeks so I'm super stoked about tonight.

Susan came home to find her daughter kissing Zack and flipped out. Seems the theme tonight is mistakes that come back to haunt you.

John's mom and dad came to see Gabrielle. John wants to do gardening full time and his parents are trying to stop him. They are threatning Susan, eiher she helps them convince John to goto college or they'll go to the police.

I guess grandpa is Ryan O'Neal? Rex is trying weasel out of the nasty divorce. Bree's not buying.

Susan is talking to Zack's dad about the kids kissing. They've sold the house and are moving at the end of the month. Zacks pissed, says he wishes Mary-Ellis had shot dad instead.

Grandpa's been dipping into Lois McDaniel, one of grandpas suppliers. Hmmmmmm. Her stockings must have fallen out of her purse...yeahhhh riggghhhhhhhhhhhtttttttttt.

And they're off to commercial

and we're back from Commercial.

Rex is still trying to cancel the divorce but Bree's not having it. She really truly wants revenge. She mentioned something abotu leveling the playing field. Rex wants to know if she wants to have an affair.

She makes an awesome villainess...reminds me of her Melrose Place days.

Meanwhile Susan is eavesdropping on her daughter's conversation with Zack. She overhears them talking about Dana and then the tea starts boiling and she has to hang up cause Zack heres the whistle in the background.

On the other side of the street, Bree is having coffee and weirdo stalker doctor shows up at the restaurant. Bree apparently is lonely or crazy or both, so she invites Doc Oc to sit and have dinner with her. She talks about Rex through the whole thing though. George says she should forgive Rex while grabbing at his pants for what reason I have no idea. We dont know what happens but Bree doesn't get home till nearly 2am.

and we're off to commercials again.

and we're back again..

Lois isn't a supplier and grandpa feels bad or so he says. He says he's drifted apart from his wife. He doesn't love his wife.
grandpa says his sex life is his business and for Lynette to butt out and she puts him out on his arse.

Hubby wasn't surprised about Dad's affair, he'd been having affairs for years says Donald. And now we fight, Lynette puts Donald out the house too...that was too funny.

on the other side of town, Gabrielle arrives at John's new apartment. So the burning question I have is , will they or wont they? It looks like they wont. John's going into business so he can take care of Gabrielle. OMG, the little bastard proposed....and we're off to commercial.

back from commercial and Susan's going to chaperone Julie's dance. She's suspsicious because of the phone call.

Zack is telling his dad about the stuff he talks to Julie about. His dad doesn't look happy, looks like he wants to strangle him with the tie he's trying to put on now. Zack remembers Dana and killing Dana!!! His dad knows that he told Julie now. He's tying that tie very very tight.

Paul is chaperoning the dance too...Susan is suspicious.

On the other side of town, Dr. Vand De Kamp is visiting Bree's psycho, I mean date or whatever. He's telling him that if Bree were to come on to him, she'd just be using him to get back at him. Uh Oh, I sense someting bad happening to Dr. VanDeKamps prescription. Looks like George is going to put something else in the bottle.

Paul asks Susan to dance to "Dust in the wind". Susan tells him that she eavsedropped on the telephone conversation between Zack and Julie. Susan tells him that she heard everything about Dana. Paul tells Susan his version of what happened when Dana died. He asks her not to tell anyone else what she knows. Yeah, how long do think that will last.

and more commercials....

>Paul tells Susan his version of what happened when Dana died.

Paul's version was that they heard the baby crying, and that by the time they got to her she was dead, and that it was an accident that Zack killed her. Paul said that Zack was very little at the time (I kept waiting for him to say how old).

Then he tells Zack that Dana is alive. Who knows if this is just another lie because Paul knows that Zack tells Julie everything, and so Paul may be starting a disinformation campaign himself???

Zacks dad tells him his memories aren't true. He tells him that he didn't kill anyone. Dana is very much alive.Dana is very much alive

John's parents are furious about John giving Gabrielle her mothers wedding ring. John's dad is very nice to Gabrielle...he says his son is a big boy. He tells her when he was a kid he always played by the rules. Me thinks he's coming onto her somewhat or trying to be flattering. You're call.

Zack wants to knwo why his dad is telling him the truth now. He says he wont tell anyone his Dad's secret but they're not moving. Now, it sounds like he's doing the threatening. THe way he said Dad makes me wonder if Paul really is his biological dad.

Lynette finally let Donald back in the house. She was upset though cause he wasn't upset about his dad's affairs, she thinks it could happen to them. She tells him if he ever strayed, she would leave him in a heartbeat and take the kids with her. I think donald is getting ready to confes. Lynette doesn't know something about Darah??? and he doesn't know what she'll do if she finds out.

I dont rememeber but is that the nanny's name??

oh well...more commercials.

I think lynette's husband (don't remember his name)said that he had a secret and he did not know what lynette will do if she finds out.....I recall him mentioning names....but I am almost certain that he has cheated on her and since she has stated in no uncertain term that she will leave him and take the kids..... I remember in the one of the first few episodes that she said in jest to her friends that she wished he was having sex with other people since has three pregnancies in a very short space of time.....

and we're back again,

Gabrielle returns the ring to John and he's mad. The only decoration in the bathroom is a bong..lol. We'll be poor but happy. Gabrielle says I tried poor and guess what I wasn't happy...lol. She tells John that he was a toy, a sweet dumb toy so he might as well go to college because they have no future.

Zack tells Susan that him and his dad aren't moving. Susan seems a little shocked. Susan is telling Zack that's it's her responsibility to protect Julie. She wants Zack to not see her for a while. Zack says NO and gets nearly violent. Susan says she will call the police if Zack comes near Julie again. Another flash of that hot temper.

Zack and Julie meet secretly, didn't catch what they talked about....Thanks sis for calling to ask about your modem when I'm watching my show.

Next week is a repeat.

no problem, I just remember how upset I was when I missed one and there wasn't much here to tell me what happened.

Can't wait to find out what Donald's(I think that's Lynette's husband) secret is. I heard something about him catching the nanny nude but haven't heard anything else about the nanny. Wouldn't that be something?

i was sure i heard him say to his father something about telling lynnette about jack...i thought i heard wrong. at first i thought he said "dad", but why would he say "...tell her about dad" to his father?

please correct me if i am wrong. i don't have tivo...so i can't review what he said.

Maybe Lynette's husband was the one having sex with Edie when Susan burned the house down. We never did find out who the man was.

The look on Tom's (Lynette's husband's) face was priceless when she said that she would take the kids and leave.

When Lynette caught him checking out the nanny's (Claire) chest, he told Claire that some changes had to be made, and then we never saw any thing of Claire again.

I do like the speculation that it was Tom with Edie when the house burnt down. Hmmmm, hadn't thought of that before.

And I cracked up laughing when the boy walked in to the living room with the woman's pantyhose -- nothing like getting caught red-handed.

Lynette's hubby possibly cheating the way his father does...and
Zack being creepy the way his dad is!

Great episode!

Way too many creepy people/scenes to count from this episode, but the stand out ones for me were: the knife fondling and knee clawing by the pharmacist in the diner; the satisfied smirk on Zack's dad's face after he told his version of Dana to Susan while dancing; and that business with Rex's heart pills. Is Rex now taking a placeo or something else, or did he really get heart meds delivered as ordered?

Thanks, CSTL, for the play-by-play. I think a lot of us were watching football. I just watched the show last night.

Tom/Lynette: I don't recall Tom mentioning a name specifically, just something that he didn't think he could tell Lynette. Claire, the nanny, was let go after Tom saw her naked and appeared to be attracted to her. I could never understand why she was living there in the first place. Tom has probably seen a little action on one (or more) of his trips. I think that happens so much more than you'd think. I remember going to a class one time and being seated to a really nice man from Arkansas (no, his name was not Bill). He showed up a my door one night. I remember just being really quiet and being afraid to answer the door. The next day he mentioned that he thought we could study together.

I think Paul is lying about Dana being alive. Poor Zach. After the dance and Susan's talk with Paul, she decided she wanted Zach and Julie to cool it down. Zach came over to see Julie and Susan told him she wanted them to slow down, and Zach had a small fit and shoved a piece of furniture toward Susan. Then Susan said that Zach had to stay away from Julie. Julie later snuck out of her room to see him. Looked like they were back at the high school dance?

LOL at John proposing to Gabby. And it looks like John's dad wants a piece of Gabby himself.

Looks like the pharmacist has tampered with Rex's medicine after Rex taunted him about Bree's intentions. Maybe he's decided not to hurt Bree, but to eliminate Rex.

I'm so sick of the constant interruptions. Here is one of the best shows on tv, and we're constantly having to wait weeks in between episodes. So frustrating.

I'm glad that I was able to fill in the blanks for some. I missed the episode where Tom (dont ask me why I thought his name was donald) saw the nanny naked. The nanny was hot in a girl next door kinda way.

I guess I'm not also surprised about what you say about what happens on the road. I'm a bit too shy to do something like that but I'm sure there are tons of guys who aren't. Usually when I travel out of town, I either know someone in the area from places like this or school or something else which is nice cause then I'm not sitting in my room alone the whole time. I could see how someone would want company but they'd have to be pretty bold to proposition that quick.

Tom has probably seen a little action on one (or more) of his trips.

A little? I'm thinking he has a wife and another family on the side. According to E Online's Kristin, the secret is jaw-dropping big. A mere affair wouldn't stand out.

I think that happens so much more than you'd think.

Sad but true. When I was a consultant, the company line was, "What happens on the road, stays on the road." I know of way too many cases of my coworkers cheating on their spouses. (Not me - made myself a promise that I wouldn't do anything on the road that I couldn't tell hubby about. And I kept it.)

Trying to remember how to do hidden text.

According to EOnline's Kristin, I was exactly right with my guess about a second wife. Here's the Q&A from her latest chat:

From jayjacobs04: I think I figured out Tom's secret on Desperate Housewives--he has a second <---->!

Jay, you're one smart cookie. I took out the rest of your Q because you're dead-on. For the rest of you, here's a hint: This man is double trouble.

All I can say is OH.MY.HECK!!!!!! Great call Bebo. This show is so good anyway, I've gotten multiple people hooked on it. But I can't wait to see how this whole new story line plays out!
