Counting down to my return to work... only 10 more sleeps
Sorry Jep, I have no idea what necklace you are referring to.
Have you gone to the official website at...http://abc.go.com/primetime/desperate/index.html
Maybe they have somewhere to post questions about the wardrobe.

It is so funny that you posted this because I think the same thing every time I see her necklace. The crazier thing is I know how to make some jewelry and I have all the materials to make one similar to hers. They showed several closeups of it last night but there is one thing I am confused about. In previous nights, it shows the strands rolling over one another meaning there are no spacer bars (bars to keep each strand separated) and then last night it clearly was separated. I suppose I'll just have to fool with it to get to come out right.
Oh and more than Lynette's necklace, I would KILL to have Gabby's body. My goodness she is well formed....

I would KILL to have Gabby's body. My goodness she is well formed....You and me both T-Kitty! Mind you I've seen your picture and I think I need that body much more than you do.

Will be watching next week to see this necklace.
You are too kind, Lightsy but I can assure you, I need that body.
I don't think all the spin classes in the world could get me that body.I should tape a picture of her to the fridge for inspiration.
Oh and here is small photo of the necklace...

It seems to be a choker with three or four strands of very small pearls with even smaller gold accents.
-loves your jumpy snowmobiley thingy!
MM - Thanks for the thought, will maybe tear myself away from SB long enoughTK - I don't think there are spacers, perhaps one of those clippy things and then a twirl (I used to make necklaces, so I know what I mean
)
Lightsy - You are a doll... I checked you out - Gabby's got nothing on you! *Smooch*

Lynette's necklace seems like white seed beeds on a thin wire strand. Maybe 28 gauge (I think that's the size I used to make bracelets for my bridesmaids.) It looks like maybe 4 or 5 strands that are probably attached to one clasp in the back.

LAST EDITED ON 11-24-04 AT 08:13 AM (EST)I made the necklace. Took a bit of time. About three/four hours. It looks really neat though.
I used these beeds in the color cream ceylon. They have more of a pearl finish to them that isn't apparent in the picture:

Strung five separate strands using this wire:

Closed with this gold crimp beads, a gold split ring and this clasp (although I wish I had used something more like a hook clasp):

Unfortunately, I don't have a picture yet. I didn't finish making it until the evening and didn't feel like fooling with uploading pictures. If I have some time this afternoon, I take one and load it when I get home.
For the most part it was really easy. A little time consuming and stringing all those beads made my neck sore but it came out really well
-eta a clarification.
Then, send it to me.
