Well...now that she's fallen down the stairs and carted away in an ambulance, there is the chance that Gabrielle may in fact lose the baby. Since the first time she announced that she was pregnant, I never really thought the writers would allow her to continue the pregnancy to it's completion. Gaby being a mom somehow does not "fit" her character. I do think that her becoming a mother would have made for some very interesting story lines. We don't know if she will miscarry but I think the possibility is very high; more likely than not.

IMO, I thought it was a bit too convenient for her to fall down the stairs. I'm thinking....good excuse for this pregnancy not to continue.
