I'm new here so if all this has been discussed please pardon me. In the beginning of the series there were some things I caught but didnt think much of, attributing it mostly to sloppy writing. However now I'm convinced that the writers are on their toes and those events might have some meaning. Things I am curious about and would like to have everyones input. (1) How does a 8 month pregnant woman survive a plane crash? I mean it hard for a 8 month pregnant woman to even fall down and not suffer the consequences. Doesnt anyone find it odd she dissappears, or gets abducted or whatever, about the time for her delivery. (2)What the heck caused the plane wreck? Planes dont just fall apart in the sky,thank goodness, and this one came apart rather dramaticaly.Did anyone notice any wings of the aircraft in the wreckage on the island? Without wings I dont think the plane could have made any kind of landing on the island.It would have fell like a rock and there could be NO surviours, which means only one thing. They are all dead. This theory has been discussed on another board. They are dead and in Purgatory. Cant say I'm big on that idea but still it does explain some things.

The jet engines on the beach indicate that the wings were with that section when it crashed. Welcome aboard.

but those engines don't work anymore. some might even say they're...dead. maybe this is just airplane purgatory with innocent passengers taken along.
