At long last it looks like "Across the Sea" will be an episode with answers. I hope we will find out all about the special properties of the Island, and the history leading to where we are today regarding Jacob and the MiB. What do they know, and what does Widmore and Eloise know that we don't...Hopefully it will provide the answers that we need, the answers that Jack seems to be figuring out on and off the island...Regarding "Across the Sea"...

Here's an exclusive day after interview given by Darlton.
http://www.hitfix.com/blogs/whats-alan-watching/posts/exclusive-interview-lost-producers-damon-lindelof-and-carlton-cuse-talk-across-the-seaIt doesn't have spoilers in it, but some people don't like to hear what the writers have to say in response to the episode feedback. I think it's worth reading.
Apparently they are good with not giving MIB a name, so don't expect one.
I guess since "Lame" was taken, they were fresh out of meta-descriptive appellations?

I too have hopes of this one. I wonder if we'll see the Losties at all.I read they considered it a coup to get Allison. Wonder if she's the mother of the boys. I expect that boys 1 and 2 are the young Jacob and MIB.
I was hoping they would go back to Egyptian or Roman times. "Hunter" doesn't sound promising for a "civilized" back story. Guess Egyptian is out too.
Claudia is Roman, although it was a surname not a Christian name. It means "lame."

Then it should have been the title of the episode.

Then it should have been the title of the episode. This made me laugh. Almost as much as Exploding Ilana. Good shot, michel.

LOL, michel.I restrained myself when I posted the meaning of the name. I did laugh when CJ told Claudia that she had a lovely name.

Perhaps I will grow to appreciate this episode the more that I think about it and read what others have to say, but when it was over I just said, "That's it?!" It probably didn't help that it seemed so slow that I fell asleep for five minutes or so in the middle of it. For the moment, I'm disappointed, especially after last week's engaging episode.
"LMAO"
