I keep thinking about Mr Echo. How important was he in the story? did I miss something or not get it?

I hope that there will be a way to bring back Mr. Echo in some way. The dead never really seem to stay deaf afterall.

If I recall, Darlton said that they had had plans for this character but that the actor had requested to be released due to personal reasons (death of both parents). They were sad that they hadn't had the opportunity to complete that character's story.

I loved Mr. Echo. I always thought his story was fascinating and that he would be an integral part of the show. I mean what are the chances that he would crash on the same island his brother crashed on?

And what about Libby? The producers have always said that she would play a big part in the show and so far, nothing. I mean she was in the same asylum as Hurley and then they're on the island together and then she gave Desmond, a stranger and someone who has turned out to be a major part of the show, a boat which brought him to the island!

I've been wondering about that church he was building. Was it supposed to be something to counter the Temple(whatever that is?)

You've been hotpocketed!

We found the Temple last night in Ep 5.12 The Monster.

I think the actor left the show so they had to write him out somehow. I doubt we will see him again. He was one of my favorite characters.
