Now that we know who is in the coffin, I thought I would bump the obituary. It confuses me even more. Does Locke have a lot of time off the Island to come back and have a life as Jeremy Bentham? Does he pop back into another time and have to wait until the O6 show up. If not, how does he have time to create a life or is it all just a cover? For your refresher:
I am sure that speculators at the time said the obit mentioned a teenaged son, but that is not in this text.
The first time we see the Obit, at the end of Season 3 when Jack reads it and shows it to Kate before proclaiming "we have to go back". That was just a prop that wasn't meant to be taken literally. The producers confirmed this in one of their podcasts.
I believe they said that was an actual newspaper they used then, but the other times we see it in S4 that's a prop they created for the show.
And yeah, the original said something about a son.-----------------------------------------
Have you ever imagined a world with no hypothetical situations?
I'm thinking:He will be in the wheelchair.(Boone even said so!)
He will be off island for some time before he "dies".
I wonder if he will make contact with Helen at all even though he is supposed to be dead?
I hope they show him talking to Walt also.
That's all I got!

They all know Locke as Bentham because wasn't Jack surprised that no one else came to the funeral? Locke/Bentham visits each one and tells them they have to go back and he is ignored. What we're seeing now is the culmination of Locke's and Ben's efforts to get everyone together. I bet there'll be a Locke-centric episode or two where we see what he does off the island leading up to his death. They need Walt to help tie up the pieces (and get Vincent back!) What are the chances that Michael survived the boat blast?! Was he near the explosives or on deck at the end?
What are the chances that Michael survived the boat blast?! Was he near the explosives or on deck at the end?I know...I was wondering about Micheal too. He was in the 'bomb' room when he saw Christian Shepherd who said "You can go now Micheal". So is Michael with Claire and Christian now?
