I was perusing around the Hanso site last week and did an internet search on Thomas Mittelwerk. There was really nothing that came up that was "Lost" related.

What was all over the internet was a number of sites about "Mittelwerk"

"underground factory called Mittelwerk that was excavated beneath Kohnstein Mountain, about 2 km southwest of the town of Neidersachswerfen. The Dora concentration camp (later called Mittelbau KZ), where most of the Mittelwerk workers were imprisoned, was located on the southwest edge of the Kohnstein, near the southern portals of Mittelwerk tunnels A and B."

This goes back to the 1940's which is the time frame that the instructional videos look like they belong to even though it clearly shows 1980 on them.

What I find amazing is, in my search to find this article again this morning I was inundated with "Lost" links to Thomas Mittlewerk.

Not sure if this means anything or not but take it for what its worth.

Michael was explaining how the Others treated their people. Living in tents, laboring, etc. Prisoners maybe? Might be a connection. Could be the reason they want the children. Like in the war (Hitler`s Nazi Youth). I`m old enough to remember this.

Interesting idea. Could the "Good Ones" be required to populate a pure or supreme race?
