Two websites, msnbc and tvguide, show Adrift replaying for next Wednesday. Does anyone know if this is NOT true?

LAST EDITED ON 10-19-05 AT 05:34 PM (EST)I have heard this.
a. They don't want to go up against the World Series
b. Saving it for sweeps.
Word is the episode that is being pushed back is "can't miss"*.
*Spoiler-for that episode: Invisable text.
Supposedly this is the episode where the female regular cast member is knocked off.

LAST EDITED ON 10-19-05 AT 07:43 PM (EST)They may have changed their mind since it was printed, but the print version of TV Guide has a new episode.
It is fairly common for the week or two before November sweeps to be re-runs so I expect several shows to have repeats between now and November.

AOL's online TV listings has it as "Adrift" as a repeat.I could see holding off a week against the 4th game of the world series when they could show it the following week during sweeps and still have good episodes through the whole November ratings period.
Why waste a show that could be shown one week later and get you something rather than show it on a week where people are not all that likely to watch it even if it is a new show.

LAST EDITED ON 10-19-05 AT 08:12 PM (EST)ABC issued a press release today about the switch.
New episode tonight, followed by two repeats, "Adrift" and "Orientation."
(John Locke was right when he said, "We're gonna have to watch that again.")
And, I agree with Slice, this is a major event. Publicity photos for the show center around this character.
