Yeah, yeah, I knew you'd open this thread.

Looks like Kate is the first to be lowered down the hatch.
You can see Locke tying on a rope/vine, and then Locke holding the rope,
which leaves the frame, probably loops around a tree, and then returns again at the hatchway.

I wish we could post larger pictures...

I've only seen the preview for the first episode once, but I am pretty sure as Kate is being lowered down she yells that there is something (someone?) down there and to pull her back up. She looks and sounds pretty freaked.

Unfortunately I don't watch much ABC programming (actually none, not counting Lost) so I don't have much chance of seeing the preview again.

Anyone else see it?

Go to http://www.oceanicflight815.com/, click on Explore, then on Hatch follow the dots around clicking on them, you'll get bits from last season, then at end you'll get the preveiw.

Maybe now she can add the look of "fear" to her close-up shots. I'm so tired of that "wistful" look she gives every single episode.

The latest preview that I saw showed Kate being lowered down and looking scared. She says "I think there's something down here" and either before or after that you see a sign that says "Quarantine". Then a bright light shines up from the hatch and you hear either Locke or Jack yell her name. Anybody else catch it?

according to the latest TV Guide-
the contents of the hatch are revealed in the first episode and it has something to do with Jack's past

If it has to do with Jacks past..... then it could be responsible for Jacks dead father walking around on the island. remember when Jack chased his dad down, caught up with him, fell back, and said "Dad?" His dad turned, with a zombie like appearance, and looked at Jack, then turned and walked away through the bushes.

They say they are getting ride of some ppl--and "I think" that Kate is too valuable to allow to disappear. BUT --OMG---they are so good at making us wonder-------about EVERYONE--
