Challenge for today is to design an ad campaign for Crest.

Kevin is the Project Manager for this assignment. Mosaic randomly drew for the leadership position earlier.

Andy wants to give away a million dollars . . . hmmmmm . . . could this tie in with Trump's unprecedented action?

Trump is lecturing on the importance of keeping costs down and staying on budget. Early target: Mosaic.

I think Elizabeth is the head of Apex (or is it the blonde Jennifer?), since she worked with Proctor & Gamble. Apex gets Mike Piazza for $20,000 . . . out of the $50,000 budget.

Apex has a couple of speed bumps in the plan - Stacie was tasked with getting the toothpaste from the facility. She lollygags and waits to the last minute, and the movement because impossible for the night.

Meanwhile, Elizabeth is trying to get flyers, but all printers are closed for the evening. Not looking good here . . .

Even bigger problem for Mosaic, DeVries just called back and the legal department says that the underwriting is a no go. Uh oh . . .

They are now giving away three $5,000 give aways. Much more feasible.

Some odd carnival performers are surrounding Mosaic's booth . . . people on stilts, flame-eaters . . . one question - what does this have to do with toothpaste?

What do scantily clad women have to do with beer? What does a gecko have to do with car insurance, or a duck with supplemental insurance? Nothing. Marketing doesn't neccessarily have to link images with product. Just get the consumers attention and then BAM! Slip in the product.

Elizabeth brings Maria & Stacie J. into the boardroom with her. The only thing that Maria & Elizabeth agree on is that Stacie is nuts. Trump is intrigued. He orders everyone back down to get their take on the situation. I wonder where this is going. If Trump was paying attention last time, he should know that their is a cabal to get Stacie off the team.

The group confirms Maria & Elizabeth's account of Stacie's behavior. Claim they were nervous and scared and some go as far as to say that Stacie is unstable. Stacie J. is fired. I'm flabbergasted. While Stacie's behavior was extraordinarily odd, I don't think I would have feeled threatened . . . well, now the women will have to find a new scapegoat for their organizational problems.

Me either. She was a tad hyper and off the wall, yes. But scarey? NO! Get a grip, folks.

I can't believe Trump let them get away with that. Oh well, they'll turn on each other soon enough. WHY won't these female contenders learn how to separate business from personal likes/dislikes? Didn't they learn anything from last year? Geesh!

Hopefully the A producers will get a clue and mix the teams up from the start. I'm tired of watching the women self-destruct.

And WHEN will DT start firing the people truly responsible for the failure? Maria went $5,000 over budget. The PM (Elizabeth?) lost control of her team, just like Ivana last week. But DT joins in the scapegoating and fires Stacie J? Bringing everyone back into the boardroom to bash Stacie J was the big, "The RULES are broken"?!

I'm left with a lot of, "Eh - who cares?" This program seems dull so far this year.

I sort of agree. However, Donald said it best...the women don't like each other but they all agreed that Stacie J. was a little off center! I think that was enough for him to say...don't risk it!

The fact that some of these women said they were scared of Stacie J was ridiculous. If Stacie really made them feel threatened and afraid then they don't have what it takes to run a company. Yes Stacie was odd. But she didn't exactly threaten anyone. These women don't deserve to win anything. They behave pathetic and yet the PMs never have to answer to their mistakes. The Donald fires people that had nothing to do with the challenge. Why do they even bother having challenges and PMs? The Donald is just going to do what he thinks will shock the audience and make great TV.

Hey guys, sorry for the delay, would have been posting earlier but I had to work!
Was I the only one wicked-disappointed not to see the the bag-lady fiasco? I know it's bad publicity... but I have a lot of trouble believing it wouldn't come up AT ALL. I guess Trump either pretended like it didn't happen at all (at the request of MB?) and didn't take it into consideration when deciding who was fired, or wasn't informed by Carolyn in the first place(Huh?)...

My guess about the team composition was wrong, but at least we had the first three challenges right. I don't think I ever posted what we found out about the subsequent challenges.

Oh, and I think the whole reason that Stacie J. was such a big deal was that Trump had initially planned to fire Elizabeth. The rest of Apex helped him to change his mind.

Glass, thanks for the link. I have not been on spoilers for The Apprentice that much and I missed this. However, lastnight, I did wonder how they got the toothpaste to where they needed it because they (the editors) left us out of the loop on that one!
