any spoiler for episode 11?

"Nick/Amy"

Well, I guess we can scratch off those two candidates for boot-consideration next week for Episode 11...

I have this feeling that Nick is going to be stuck with Amy on his team, and with the dwindling numbers on teams, we might be heading toward a Nick vs Amy boardroom...

I'm sure that this is referring to Amy and Nick but I doubt that it means that Amy gets fired. I think it just means that she loses either as a team member or as a PM and thereby loses some of her perceived invincibility. Also, I think that Nick gets the boot in a showdown with Amy. Since Nick spends as much time in the boardroom as he does in the suite, his luck finally runs out. Also, I would have a tough time believing that Amy would lose on her first time to the boardroom after 10 wins. Of course, her fate depends on the circumstances of the defeat and her role in the loss.

Hilarious sentence, subman! I also agree with you. but I do believe that Amy WILL Not make the final 3. The Playboy business is back on the Netscape home page again, speaking in terms of ALL the women having been fired. I reprinted it here:

The Daily Whisper
Hottest Scoop on the 'Net

More (or Less) of Trump's Gals
The ladies of NBC's hottest reality TV show have been given the boot by Donald Trump but have other offers coming in. Playboy approached four of the lovely ladies to pose nude for the same salary that Trump will award his "Apprentice" winner. The gals showed they couldn't be bought and turned down the offer but signed with FHM for a scantilly clad spread -- for free. Guess it isn't all about the money!

Too bad. I really liked Amy and was rooting for her.

LAST EDITED ON 03-18-04 AT 05:28 PM (EST)

Maybe she gets fired. I just find it hard to believe that with her winning record and with the slack Trunp has given frequent losers like Troy and Kwame, that Amy could get the boot in the few remaining weeks? We'll see.

Sounds like Trump finds out about Amy/Nick and takes her to task over it. So while she probably won't get the boot next week, I can see Trump use it to justify firing her a few weeks later.

Or maybe Trump gets jealous and his ego takes over asking this young apprentice to dinner?

VersaCorp loses the challenge and ends up in the fake boardroom. Trump addresses Amy: "I thought that you showed good judgement, Amy, but any woman in her right mind wouldn't have had anything to do with Nick Warlock. I'm disappointed in you. You're fired"

As VersaCorp exits the fake boardroom, Donald is seen talking with Carolyn and George: "I just don't get why a great girl like that would give Warlock a moment of her time. I DON'T GET IT." Carolyn shrugs, nods and states, "She's just not too clever after all." George adds, "It's incomprehensible". :p

"Dumbest idea"

Didn't Trump say something in the preview about the dumbest idea I've evered heard"?

It screams Troy to me.

Mavsfan, I was just thinking about that and it DOES sound Troylike behavior to me to come up with a dumb idea...but I don't think he gets fired just yet...we'll see...

Troy or Kwame, I think. Or possibly Katrina.

I don't think it's Nick or Amy just because of their Ep11 presence.

Who do you think Kwame and Troy are going to bring over to their team? I would guess that Troy won't pick Amy though.

Troy obviously has some sort of alliance with Kwame. Kwame is Troy's number one guy. If Troy brings over Amy, and they end up losing, Kwame (or possibly Troy) is fired. I'd imagine that the boys would grab Katrina.

That would work too. I don't see Kwame and Troy taking Nick.

"Dumbest Idea Amy & Nick?"
Posted by mavsfan on 03-19-04 at 08:06 PM
While the "Dumbest Idea" comment screams Troy to me, I could see Trump saying this when he finds out Amy & Nick have become romatically involved.

IE. "Nick, Why would you get romantically involved with someone your competing against for a job? That's the Dumbest Idea I've ever heard of!"

As far as who would Troy & Kwame draft? I think it would be Bill.

Whey won't Draft Amy. When Nicks team selected her (3rd time she was selected as MVP by the players) Trump commented that maybe he should just hire her now and firing everyone else. Troy & Kwame won't put Amy in the spot light again even if they think she's the best pick.

They won't draft Katrina. She and Troy already have some bad blood between them it seems.

That leaves Nick and Bill. Nick has called Troy & Kwame unethical. He's also shown he won't take orders if he disagrees with them. Bill on the other hand seems to me to be a team player start to finish. I think Troy & Kwame will draft Bill.

If the person who is fired is the one who make the mistake I think our choices are pretty clear. Nick and Troy being at the top of the list of those willing to try something that might blow up in their face later. Qwame being at the bottom of the risk taker list.

The rest are somewhere in the middle IMO.

How about this,

Troy/Kwame actually decide to take Amy in the draft, AGAIN. They don't like Bill/Nick, and Katrina hasn't impressed anyone, so they decide to take Amy and plan to spin it as separating her from Nick. As soon as Trump finds out, he explodes as they have clearly not paid attention to his previous caveats.

A blossoming romance wilts and a star candidate falls from grace. Thats Just When Donald finds out about the romance and Amelia probably gets chewed out because of it

the losers face a difficult decision in the boardroom as the 12th candidate is fired.. Sounds like Kwame is the project manager and he must choose betwwen his best friend(troy) and his best worker (Bill)

This sux now my final 3 is ruined.

even if amy sort of screws up on one mission, accumulative performance is more important, i think.. anyway, amy proved herself over and over again and i think her win is definite and rightfully so. she is the obvious winner and the last few episodes will be entertaining just to see the other players scramble and amy kicking ##### (hopefully). if you want to be a president in one of trump's company, it should be a clear win and it will definitely be amy.

Yeah, I agree. I'm still convinced right now that Amy's the winner.

Look at it from Mark Burnett's point of view. Amy has been the star every single episode. She won ten challenges in a row. How on earth are you going to make the finale exciting and suspenseful?

Simple. The final three or four episodes play up the concept that "Amy is in trouble." Sure, Amy does make mistakes, but the editing can be twisted so it seems much worse than it actually is.

Welll...let's not forget Colby from Survivor2. He dominated the challenges and "outplayed" most of the players...and lost to Tina.

which I doubt as they are down to 6 now, should be one team. from the preview, Katrina and Amy was negotiating with someone. So maybe they are on the same team? But it could be that they're reps for each of the team as well. However if Troy and Kwame are smart they would pick Bill. Because Amy and Kat seem to have catty remarks toward each other now and it's better to see them fighting each other out (Heidi vs Omerosa). And keeping Nick and Amy together is good for other candidates because their relationship is not entirely professional. If something has gone wrong, others can use that against Nick and Amy.

Yes stupid idea sounds Troy to me (although I am all routing for him) but we will see. Although, the person with stupid idea and the person who got fired MIGHT not be the same person. Remember Trump's comment? "you were rude, you ARE rude." which referred to Omerosa but she was't fired in that episode.

The 'giant mistake' could even be something else, not stupid idea.

"Troy"
Posted by RyrieRae on 03-19-04 at 09:35 PM
Could be Troy. If there is any other Star Player, it would have to be Troy. Plus, technically, Amy hasn't been given any grace to fall from. She, so far, has played a perfect game. Troy however has not. He has been given grace several times in the boardroom. Furthermore, if the preview reads that a relationship wilts AND a star player falls from grace, then it would be WAY too obvious to assume it's Amy.

On a side note, I would like to say something about the potential of Amy's win that I have yet to see discussed. Weeks before the series premiered, I remember a preview which was aired several times. In it, Amy (whose name I did not know at the time, but none the less I remembered her face) was quoted saying "Never be satified until you come out on top." I immdediately (and each time after that) thought to myself "hmm, there must be some reason they are showing HER saying THAT." Did any one else catch that?

Troy was part of the losing team last week and Trump said he had considered firng all of them. He criticized Troy and commented on the number of times he had lost. This does not lead me to believe that Troy is considered to be a star player. However, Nick has been doing well lately and remember, he had the memorable one-on-one meeting alone with Trump. Also, Nick could be said to idolize Trump where as Troy calls him Old DT. I think Nick is the one who falls from grace.

I think it is Troy! Last week when they evened up the teams and Amy was chosen, The Donald said I would not have made that choice. Who else would Donald have picked? It had to be Troy. I do believe that Donald likes Troy because even though he talked about Troy being in the boardroom...he has not poked fun at Troy like he has the others.

I think Donald sees Troy as a diamond in the rough! When Kwame said that his "star" player would not be going to the boardroom...The Donald did not disagree!

I think when DT said that he wouldn't have picked Amy, because it's not a good strategy for other players to do so. It's like pointing out to DT that she is better than others and they want her on their team. Not that he would have picked Troy.

Star candidates in my thought could be Amy or Nick since DT seems to favor these two the most. And I think he has been harsh on Troy so I don't think it is him.

No one knows who will be the winner. It's live remember? And also remember the ad...everyone remembers Troy! "MBA, BA It's all BS to me!"

Amy has no grance to fall for because she's never been up there! Stay too far behind in the background and this is DT saying not mine. (Check out People new issue)

Didn't we see on the initial players that Katrina-Troy-Kwame were on the same team? Also, it would make sense that in this scenario the two PM's would be Amy and Katrina.

My prediction: In a stunning upset, Katrina's team actually wins. Amy drags boyfriend Nick to the board room (causing their relationship to "wilt", but it's really just hype) and one of the "star players" gets fired.

The other alternate could be Troy. They drag Katrina, expecting to gang up on her and fire her when they lose, but Trump finally calls Troy or Kwame out and breaks up that pairing.

I still say Katrina is the last woman standing, she is the "villain" character going into the final episode.

I go with that idea..Katrina's team wins, just because no one expects her to lol

But still tend to think that the girls are on the same team though
