Rob - gone already for being too submissive.Wes is going to get kicked out. He's snobbish, and that will get old by the second week. His contribution to date hasn't been exceptional.
Maria will get kicked out, but I have a feeling that Trump will leave her in there longer than she needs to be to create drama, ala Omarosa. She's not the kind of person that's good for an organization, because she's so out for herself.
Despite other comments here, I don't think Stacie J. is an Omarosa, but she probably won't make it because she's not making allies. Allies are necessary in a situation like that.
Bradford can make it only if he can last long enough to get through the re-mixing of teams. Right now, he's a target so long as he's the only man in a group of women. They're going to project their personal issues with men and take him out at every opportunity.
Andy hasn't done anything wrong, but he's threatening to the older contestants because he's still a college student, so if he doesn't come up with a way to get around it, he'll lose. Something similar happened on "the weakest link": a high school senior was beating the pants off of everyone, then the announcer lady mentioned that he was a high school student in the chit-chat portion. Immediately, he was voted off, with "experience" being the excuse.
The woman who was sitting next to trump and copying everything he did at dinner is going to go. My god, what an idiot. She thought doing everything he did and watching for his approval was "professional"? See, this is why the stock market crashes now and then, people lose all concept of professionality. I'm sure Trump's girlfriend might have a thing to say about that, too.

I think the Stacie J. meltdown was tied more to her trying to inject some levity with the 8-ball, getting no response, and instead of just dropping it, trying to force the humor on the whole group, which made her just plain obnoxious (maybe worse since we didn't see the whole thing play out - probably would take too long anyway). Omarosa really didn't seek the approval of the group, and probably couldn't care less.
"They're going to project their personal issues with men and take him out at every opportunity."Ummmmmmm - so the men will take out their personal issues with women on Pamela, too, right?
On the other hand, isn't it possible that both Bradford and Pamela tend to have a heavy handed personnel management styles and will eventually be eliminated for that reason?
Everyone is entitled to my opinion.
On the other hand, isn't it possible that both Bradford and Pamela tend to have a heavy handed personnel management styles and will eventually be eliminated for that reason? It depends. Keep in mind that Trump still has the ultimate decision on who goes each week (save the winning PM from the week before). So if the heavy-handed style gets results (i.e. a win for the team), Trump can't/won't fire them since they are getting results. Now if they lose that week, then conceivably in the boardroom the other team members could use that as an excuse for their loss, and that could persuade him to fire Bradford or Pamela.
"other team members could use that as an excuse for their loss, and that could persuade him to fire Bradford or Pamela. "You make some good points, rtrader.
I meant that a heavy handed management style tends to turn a team against that person, even with a win. For that reason, the team members might scheme to offer up said ogre or ogress in the boardroom.
Also, wouldn't DT prefer someone who can both win and offer a smooth personnel management style?
I just don't see either Pamela or Bradford winning this, based on the styles of the final two last year.
Everyone is entitled to my opinion.
"I meant that a heavy handed management style tends to turn a team against that person, even with a win. For that reason, the team members might scheme to offer up said ogre or ogress in the boardroom."I agree. Remember, APEX didn't win because of Bradford's brilliant footballplayer toy idea, along with his executive decision. Infact, Mattel told him that his idea would never work. It was the women who came up with the car idea and gave Mattel suggestions on removable parts to the car. Bradford just happened to be the PM for the win. He didn't actually contribute to the win. But what he did do was piss some of the women off by making a premature executive decision, shutting out any ideas they might have had and were in the process of coming up with.

>Ummmmmmm - so the men will

>Not necessarily. One, men learn to keep personal conflicts inside, at least for a while. The other thing is that Pamela is mentally a man. She's more manly than I am, the way she goes. So she might fit better with the men's team.
If they do kick her out, it'll be for perceived disloyalty regarding her gossip with Ivana.

If they do kick her out, it'll be for perceived disloyalty regarding her gossip with Ivana. The way she talks and acts, I have to agree. Those same thoughts went through my mind about Pamela. I think she may be more comfortable working around men for this reason, so she probably jumped at the chance to move over to the men's team. Strategically probably a bad decision (given the men's track record from last year, though time will tell with this men's team), but Pamela may have wanted this situation (being around all men vs. all women) from the start.
"probably jumped at the chance to move over to the men's team"She said, "I took a bullet for the team, Mr. Trump."
Doesn't sound like it was real high on her list of things to do.
You may be right, though, in thinking she's more comfortable working with men.
I don't think that her tactics will work well with the women, who are 50% of the peeps. A manager who can't read or respect his or her group well won't get far.
Everyone is entitled to my opinion.
Raj because he's a moron who thinks wearing red pants, clown shoes and carrying a walking stick will impress Donald Trump. It was obvious Donald saw right through him when he mentioned the walking stick. I'm betting he's out early. If I was told Raj was taking over the company where I was working, I'd quit on the spot. I think he's out for celebrity more than actually wanting to win.Andy is just obnoxious and difficult to like. Does he really think debating skills is a top priority for running a company?
Scary Spice is also in for an early exit in my book. How can anyone take her seriously?
Good points. Once again the people who take the initiative in the beginning become targets. Staying in the background initially (like Bill & Kwame) pays off.Raj is halfway out the door -- Trump already dislikes him, did you see Carolyn rolling her eyes when he spoke? You can see this in the extended boardroom sequence.
If I were to pick some leading contenders, I'd say John, Bradford, Blonde Jennifer. John made some succinct points in the boardroom & Trump didn't cut him off. Bradford got some praise from Trump. Jennifer seems level-headed and would probably get along with everyone.
Pamela I think is better than she looked this week. But I don't know if she'll last.
Poor Ivana - I think her name will doom her. Trump can't wait...."Ivana -- YOUR'RE FIRED!"
I think that WHen it comes to Apex loosing again, Ivana will be fired Imediatly with no Severance pay!
To be honest with you, I think that all the ladies will be fired accept for Pamale who in all honesty I think will win.
That lawyer Bytch needs to go, her loud azz short butt!
To follow up on Ivana, she's the weakest female I've seen so far. In the first show, she came up with the idea with a gay toy for 6-8 year old boys. Then there was her boring business 101 presentation on volume and price at the beginning of episode 2, compounded by her leadership weakness and total fear-based behavior w/ respect to the boardroom. She's gone.
Wes & Kelly – Too slimy and grimy
Rob – Useless
Bradford – Annoying
Chris – No degree
Andy –Words are meaningless
John – OK so far
Kevin – No mistakes so far
Raj – I remembered his name the last of the 18, surprisingly. Too kooky.Stacie J – Made the astute observation that the rest of the women are like a catty sorority, but astute observations are useless unless utilized. She should’ve played along anyway instead of remaining aloof. If she could warm up to them, she’d go far.
Stacy R – A little slow
Maria (Nick) – #1 Obnoxious (Anyone who nominates another to be PM always is)
Jennifer C – #2 Obnoxious. Furthermore, she, Ivana and Stacie J aren’t going to win because Trump said Bradford was the best in the room. He’s not going to hire an inferior candidate!
Ivana (Omarosa) – #3 Obnoxious
Jennifer M / Sandy / Elizabeth – Sorry, can’t tell one long–haired blonde from another!
Pamela – Most qualified woman, but arrogant and useless in direct salesIt's JOHN vs KEVIN!
Jennifer C., the one that copied Mr. Trump's table manner, for the 2nd week, she copied the boys by putting the 2 ice cream carts together.
she's a copy cat. No creativity. Has to go. Oh well !
The women will lose on the 9/23 episode tonight, since they do not have Bradford to be the "Benevolant Dictator". This means that they will wind up in the board room, and will pounce on Stacie J. as the weakest link.
Overall, I think that the strongest contenders to make the final episode for Season Two are the following contestants (in order of most likely):
- Jennifer M.
- John
- Kelly
- RajI especially love Jennifer; she's SO hot!!! And she is smart to boot. I think she has been spot on in the boardroom so far. Must have helped that she went to Princeton and Harvard.
Some of these candidates, going from their biographies on the NBC website, are pretty advanced in their own rite. I think Donald Trump should be their apprentice in a couple of cases!
In addition to Stacie J., my pics for the next candidates to be fired, are (in order of most likely first):
- Pamela (No Value Add, Carolyn Hates Her-- the Boy w/bad haircut from episode #1 was probably Carolyn's son or relative)
- Ivana (Poor Leadership, Too Rigid, Too Opinionated)
- Wes (Arrogant)
- Jennifer C. (Arrogant, Rude)
I think these are the flakiest candidates, based on how show's editors have presented these candidates to us in the first two installments.Toodles!
