LAST EDITED ON 04-08-04 AT 08:26 PM (EST)OK, because people on the East Coast (and Midwest too) will have access to significant spoiler information hours before people on the West Coast will, we're going to adopt a format similar to the one we use for Survivor and The Amazing Race for this episode.
If anyone wants to post UPDATES about the events (such as the names of the two people who get booted within the first 20 minutes, or the method of their booting, or the details about how Omarosa and Troy return) -- PLEASE POST THEM IN THIS THREAD ONLY!!!
We will enforce a ban on SPOILER INFORMATION on this board until midnight EDT. In other words, do NOT start a new thread to discuss tonight's events until AFTER MIDNIGHT ... or you may see it deleted.

If this wasn't clear enough, here's another try at an explanation, borrowed from the Survivor board:
RealityTVWorld.com provides this thread as a service to two groups: 1) People who want to post and read about the episode as it is being telecast across the various time zones. If you can't wait for the show to appear in your time zone, read the 'East Coast Update Thread' for an on-the-fly commentary.
2) Those people who want to access other posts but do not want to see spoilers before the show is telecast in their timezone.
Please do not post any commentary about the episode as it is telecast in threads other than this one. Thanks.

LAST EDITED ON 04-08-04 AT 09:06 PM (EST)Four candidates are left...who will be fired this week??
And so it begins..
Kwame..."everything I do from now is dedicated to Troy..it was mano a mano." Troys' my boy and there's a true friendship there.
Meeting at the Esquire suite in Trump World Tower
Looks like George and Carolyn have some friends.
Norma
Allan
Charlie Heiss
TomThey're going to interview each candidate and at the end of the day two people will be fired based on the interviews. They have combined service of over 75 years with Trump. Ultimately The Apprentice will be working with them

LAST EDITED ON 04-08-04 AT 09:09 PM (EST)WOW...I like the interview type process! This may not be good for Nick because he tends to let his mouth out weigh his butt!
ETA: WOW...two of the interviewers said they were impressed with Bill! WOO HOO!
Interviews.Kwame...tell me about your leadership style
Amy...hey lady..shut up.
Bill...you've been getting by on your instinct...not your education
Nick...what are you gonna bring to the table other than your charisma?
They were firing the questions off left and right and amazingly...it seems that Kwame was the only one that was handling the questions ok.
Norma was most impressed with Bill. Charlie thinks Bill is the kind of guy that he could relate to. Don asked about Kwame and one of his guys thought maybe he didn't have enough energy but the Don had his back and the other guy liked him too.
Nick has a lot of potential but isn't sharp and doesn't show a lot of intellect. They think he's a little too slick for his own good.
Norma thinks Amy would get on her nerves after a while. She irritated pretty much all of them. Her words had no content and her answers were basically meaningless. They said she had an empty personality.
Looks bad for Nick and Amy.

Great job SCTL!
Now the Don's asking each of the contestants who they would get rid of. No one wants to work for Nick.Wooo...Amy would even recommend firing Nick. Don says' your very cold.
All of his executives and everyone in the room says Nick is a salesman and not a leader. Nick...You're Fired!!
Does Amy think Bill is as smart as Kwame. She thinks so...Bill disagrees...thinks he could have gone to any school he wanted. Amy has more energy than both of the guys..says the Don.
Amy...you've been a superstar till today...my own people dont like you. What do you think I should do? The question goes back to you Mr. Trump...what are you looking for.
Amy...there's little substance behind your words...people have to be inspired to follow you. Amy I have to fire you...no trademark You're Fired...maybe his way of showing his respect for what she'd done up this point. Who knows....

No surprises here. Nick is gone. Amy is gone, despite her role as a challenge superstar. Just what we expected. The only real surprise (to me) was Norma dissing Amy based on her appearance.

Kwame and Bill impressed all of the Don's executives...congratulations.Final assignemnt at 10 am next morning...They will have to impress as executives.

The Don talks about LoyaltyEveryone assumed I was gonna be picking a beautiful woman like Amy but when it comes to business I dont play games.
Each of you will oversee the details of two huge events. Bill is taking care of a Golf Tournament. Kwame will be overseeing a Jessica Simpson concert.
They have to choose employees. (see this one coming a mile away)
It's the fired contestants.Bill picks...Amy, Katrina, and Nick
Kwame picks Troy,Heidi and OmarosaKwame and Bill will be treat to private limo rides as executives. The employees ride in SUV's.
Kwame is trying to map out where he wants his team. He plans to keep with his style of picking a good team and letting them do there thing. Kwame and team meet with Mark Brown manager of Taj Mahal to find out how he defines a successful event
Omarosa gets a phone call in the middle of dinner. Make sure Jessica and her band arrive when they are supposed to. Omarosa asks her if she can take care of it. (this is YOUR job). Troy asks what the phone call is about and Omarosa refuses to tell him. (what a b*tch) I think she's gonna f*ck things up for Kwame.
Bill met with Leslie Ray...director of sales and events. Nick doesn't seem too thrilled to be an employee.

Agree with Solitaire
C'mon Flower.....The Donald's not a chauvinist. He really likes Amy and has respect for her. From what I could see, he really didn't want to fire her, but had to trust his people. A lot of people thought Amy was going to win or go further, but she didn't. There was nothing chauvinistic about The Donald's statement.
The Donald talked about his impressions of Amy but it was his executives that all hated her. If it had not been for her horrible interviews, I'm 100% certain that she'd be competeing against Bill in the finale. When he made the statement I mentioned in the thread...it was in the context of a joke. It was an attempt at a little humor seeing as the final two just happened to be male..not the reason the final two were male though. I apologize for the loose translation.

This lady is a lazy idiot!
There's a problem...the van is still at the airport and it has the wrong information. There was a little problem with transportation and she tried to get in touch with Omarosa and she was having dinner and was too busy. She did secure a van to pick her up and the van is still there but no one knows where anyone is.Omaraso doesn't understand what the problem is and hangs up on her.Omarosa is lying her a$$ off now about what happened and Troy and Kwame are calling her out on it. Kwame feels that Omarosa is incompetent and would fire an employee that is incompetent.
Now back to Bill's team:
There is no where to store the inventory for the goody bags for the guests. Bill is talking smack about one of The Donalds employees over this storage issue. What Leslie thinks is irrelevant..I have a job to do and I'm gonna get it done.

Back to the casino....Kwames team is having dinner with Jessica Simpsons father who is also her manager.Omarosa receives a call from Diane and Jessica Simpson is missing. The driver has no idea what is going on. They have to find Jessica as soon as possible. Kwame thinks it's important to maintain composure so he's not letting them see him sweat.
In the real world he would never hire Omarosa cause she's incompetent. (She beyond sucks). Omarosa is trying to pin everything on Kwame. She says Kwame was not hands on and it's turned into a huge disaster.
How do you lose a rock star!!!!

So, after her blatant videotaped lie to Kwame tonight... anyone thing this woman has any credibility left???Mark Burnett Production Rule #1 -- don't screw with The Man.
Anyone actually think the inclusion of that scene wasn't influenced by Omarosa's racial slur allegations (which everyone from The Donald to Burnett himself have been saying never happened.)
It should be interesting to hear how OmaFraud tries to explain this one away...
-SB
After her performance this afternoon on Oprah (and I do mean performance) I had pretty well made my mind up about the racial slur business. Watching tonights episode completely sealed the deal for me.
~ can't wait to see her try to talk her way out of this one.
I agree that Omarosa has no credibility after tonight. I disagree that Burnett included this footage to screw her because of the racial slur allegation. Instead, I think he intended for her to provide the dramatic conflict on this show, which she's certainly doing. The RECAP was the episode that was directed toward her racial slur allegations. Maybe I'll have to write a summary of the recap to prove it. I'll call it, oh, "Lies and the Lying Liars Who Tell Them."
Omarosackoshit is in the wrong business. She needs to go back to kindergarten and learn how to act right. Did she ever once act in a professional manner? She'll never be anything more than what she is right now-A joke.
But watching her being so smug all the time is fun to watch because she really doesn't know how to do anything right. She's trully uhh-mazing though.
Speaking of maze,I'll bet she can eat corn-on-the-cob through a picket fence.
She frightens me when her mouth opens up like she's about to take a bite out of my arm.
Someone hold me so Omarosa can't get me.
Can I et an AMEN for Survivorblows. Omarosa has just sealed any doubt that a person had. She is a disgrace and makes me SICK. It was posted on another thread about Erika suing her, I HOPE SHE CAN AND DOES.See what you did....I'm angry all over again
Although, I still heart you for making a very vaild point
Somebody start a thread on this after west coast...sees it.....How do you deal with difficult employees?
Omarosa and Nick are the difficult employees.....Nick did a yawn...not excited... he'd love to be a pain since he ain't got the job.
Omarosa likes Kwame...no way would she acts like this... she's not this stupid( I hate her....but I can tell she's acting)
whatya think????
TOTALLY!!
I not sure about Nick at this point, but Omarosa is certainly setting up Kwame. She is as transparent as a jellyfish, and stings just as bad if you trust her or turn your back on her. Who would ever hire her for any job after this?? Even though she may have been instructed to do this, she is definetly a back stabber. Maybe she just will become a house-wife or something(that is if her husband would trust her after this). She would be good at unloading bad stocks to unsuspecting common folk, and then smile that snide smile of hers while she tells them they should have done their own research.
IMHO
At first my opinion was that Omarosa wouldn't fake being lazy and sabotage Kwame's efforts in front of national TV. After all, she has a job to return to and this would cost her.BUT ... she's got that book coming out ... will it contain details about her being the saboteur? will she fess up to being the plant? I dunno, but she'll make at least $250k off that book.
Omarosa makes the exec. of ENRON look like saints. This women is dirty. I can only hope she is a plant because I'm embarrassed for her if she isn't.
Something definitely smells fishy with Omoanarosa basically trying to sabotage Kwame cause I dont know how you could see it any other way. However, after reading Webby's article on her book earlier today...I think this could just be vintage Omoanarosa. It's obvious from her work history that she's not just acting for the show...she really is a self-centered lazy a## b&tch.
That said...looking further down the thread, it does seem like Nick and Omoanarosa are going to be trouble makers for their employers and maybe they were given some instruction but at the same time...they aren't doing anything we haven't seen them do before. I think it would be a great test to put sabotuers on each team and see if the CEO (since they're not PM's anymore) fire them or try to reel them in. Kwame should have fired Omoanarosas a$$ as soon as he realized she withheld information from him about the vans.
Remember The Donalds lesson for tonight was about Loyalty. He said that for a reason and we'll probably find out next week how it plays out in the end.

I totally agree with you. I think Omarossa and Nick were asked to give Bill and Kwame trouble for this episode. What will the lesson on loyalty be though. That Omarossa and Nick should be fired for not being loyal to the team ? Or that Kwame and Bill should remain loyal to Omarossa and Nick since they are part of the team and have just made some mistakes ?
I think the lesson is that people who were royal to you the first time might not be the second time around. This lesson because both Bill and Kwame chose people that were royal (well, for the most part ) to them previously, but would this be the case second time around?
After watching tonight’s "double execution" I can now say with absolute confidence-- I KNOW WHO'S THE MOLE!!!Wait a minute...No, Anderson Cooper's on cable
Never Mind ! Wrong show !
lol I have to agree here. I'm a little bit surprised to see the way Omarosa acted tonight cause she just adores Kwame. No way she would do anything to sabotage him. Guess I was wrongBut maybe DT told her to do so to see how Kwame handle her, hehehe

>Kwame handle her, heheheSure, Omarosa adores Kwame, but not as much as she adores herself -- and her meals!! Have you forgotten the Art Gallery Challenge? She got herself fired that time because she wanted to have a long, leisurely meal without interuptions, no matter the urgency of any project she may be working on. She still feels the same way. She was not "sabotaging" Kwame, she was refusing to allow her lovely dining experience to be "sabotaged".
And anyway, we know that Jessica does indeed make it to the hotel, as we saw her in previews standing around in the hotel. So Omarosa was right, everything got itself taken of and she didn't have to give up her dining experience after all.
PS Why didn't they just ask Mr. Simpson when Jessica was coming in? He's her dad and her manager, why weren't they traveling together? He probably knows her cell phone number at least, call her and check on her. This can be done diplomatically...

But of course that wouldn't make good drama...

PS she clearly made it to Atlantic City -- for starters I think they showed her there in a "Newlyweds" episode (the cross-pollination of these shows is getting silly) Besides, there's also the below:
http://www.joybasu.com/AtlanticCity.htm
OMAROSA =Narcissistic Personality Disorder. She loves no one like she loves herself.
DT instructing Omarosa is the only way I can figure this absolute bull---- happening with her. They have to be paying her BIG bucks to act this way.I saw Oprah today and it's obvious that The Donald really likes Omarosa -- either that or he's a damn good actor.
I personally believe that even that he "hasn't seen her since the firing" he's definitely had those long tentacles out there directing everything.
This was a set up to see if Kwame would start kicking butt on stupid-### employees the way he's supposed to - as a leader.
>Never Mind ! Wrong show !Ya, you must have meant The Bachelor...
I smell a rat. Why would Diane, who presumably handles stars arriving at the Taj Mahal as part of her regular job, suddenly be incapable of arranging airport pickups without help? Why call Omarosa when she could simply call the driver and be done with it? And it just happens that a camera crew is hanging around Diane's office?Yeah. Right.
Obviously Diane was instructed to make problems for Kwame. Is Omarosa in on it too? And who's the troublemaker for Bill?
LAST EDITED ON 04-09-04 AT 00:56 AM (EST)I think this "crisis" was manufactured by Osamarosa alone.
It was Diane's usual responsibility to handle these logistics, but she was asked to have the Protege team handle the assignment concerning Jessica.
I don't think Protege realized how lucky they were to even have her there to give them information and to already have the cars and drivers, etc. on hand to handle this. At the majority of jobs that I have worked, the person who formerly held that job is no longer available, and I was on my own to figure out everything that needed to be done, and then get it done, from scratch.
If Protege were doing anything comparative, they would have had to figure out who (which performer) they were going to book, figure how to contact them, negotiate a contract, arrange publicity, hire drivers, arrange for or hire lighing, sound, security, etc. etc., for the concert, supervise ticket sales, etc. etc. etc. They are diving into a performance that has already been pre-arranged for them. Piece of cake. Same things goes for VersaCorp and their golf tournament. The inception part and preliminary arrangements already done. Piece of cake.
My guess ... Nick. He's shown to be a high-energy guy when his ##### is on the line but not when he's working for someone else's cause. I'm not sure if it's his salesman attitude (i.e. when his income is impacted by results, he performs).Case in point:
Planet Hollywood mission, lack of interest or enthusiasm during briefing with Bill.
I don't know why they made a big deal out of the fact that she wasn't on that flight. Jessica isn't a 6 year old and she would arrive at Taj Mahal by herself just fine Nick probably just drove her there as a surprise for his wife lol.But I guess they had to show a LOT of Omarosa eh?
... Jessica isn't a 6 year old and she would arrive at Taj Mahal by herself just fineDuh?!?...she has the mind of a six year old...remember her famous "chicken of the sea" comment. She couldn't find her way out of a paper bag
nah, she just pretends to be a dumb blond but she isn't that stupid
It is not possible to pretend to be that stupid.
Remember Kwame asked the Taj boss...what makes the event a success? Reply was that the star was happy.... I've never been happy when my ride doesn't show.....
I just remember the editing. This episode was edited to show a lot more of Kwame and the bad start he's getting off to with Assomorosa and his job in baby sitting Jessica Simpson. Should'nt that indicate that Bill is the one who will have the most trouble later? They hardly showed any of Bill and his team. Wasn't Nick a houseafire? Yawn. What is the notivation for the losers, especially Nick or Omoanorosa to support either Bill or Kwame?
Kwame will just smooth talk her when she arrives I still believe she arrived on her own, that's why she wasn't on that flight.
That is one reason that I think Kwame has a very legitimate shot at being "The Apprentice". Bill was very hostile towards the Trump (not his) employee that told him they couldn't use the storage space. In the real world, the difference between success and failure many times has nothing to do with your business acumen but rather your interpersonal skills and Kwame has him beat hands down in that department.

Here here, CantStandToLook. Totally agree. My money's on Kwame to become The Apprentice.
>And it just happens that a camera >crew is hanging around Diane's office?
It's kinda like the renting of the penthouse and apt 10 minutes before deadline. What reason to hang out in Diane's office? To pretend that we are too stupid to figure out this is manufactured.
Come one DT and Mark you could have thought of something a little more realistic.

Intead of handleing it herself or who this Diane would usually call-she instead called Omarosh*t,because that would be part of Omarosh*t's job as an apprentice, and she failed,oh well, maybe if she had TOLD the others instead of acting like a spoiled brat it would've turned out better.
And about a camera crew 'just happening to be there'-guess what? They are filming a TV show called:The Apprentice. Did that one go right over your head too? Being told to do something by your superior-you better do it and do it right.is all part of being an apprentice, but Omar thinks she's too good to do ANY work.
And Donald Trump was good enough to hire her-But.She wasn't,isn't,and never will be-cut out for that line of work.So too bad for the pitiful Omar,boo-hoo,she was asked to do one simple thing which required the use of a telephone.
Besides,Omarosh*t has many mental problems too lenthy to go into here.I just thought I'd inform you since you seem to have no idea about anything-no wonder you identify with her.
Personal attacks are not allowed on this forum. Bashing contestants is done, but no bashing other posters. Please remember that if you wish to continue posting here.
early in the show when the fake receptionist called the suite to ask the contestants to meet Trump at 9AM. You can see out the window behind her, she is clearly on an elevated floor, rather than the basement set where they film all the boardroom meetings. And are we supposed to believe that this receptionist starts work at 7:00 AM?
Hmmm good points, ladro. Perhaps it was a fake window backdrop to make it appear as if she were on a high floor. But you are quite right, what in the world is she doing at work at 7:00 AM?
What I do remember was the way she began her conversation with the candidates:
Kwame: "Hello?"
Robin: "Hi, this is Robin, from Mr. Trump's office?"
Like, she's been calling, giving instructions and ushering them in and out of the boardroom for some 13 challenges, she has to clarify exactly who she is? And who else would be calling at 7:00 AM? They have so many Robins calling the morning she has to specify who she is...
I wonder how she would have done as an Apprentice candidate...
I am inclined to believe that they filmed all or most of the 'Receptionist call' sceens at one time.
As some others have eluded to...I think Omarosa and Nick were ASKED by the producers to sabotage their team or at least not be cooperative. Omarosa was just flat out lying, which I believe she wouldn't do under normal circumstances.Trumps message in the beginning of the episode was about being loyal, so I'm sure that will play into his decision.
Ricky, but didn't they do that in every other episode?
