Please keep all discussion of Donald's new episode format on this thread until the West Coast gets a chance to experience the wonder that is:

So -- is this the Microsoft episode? There's one sure way to find out. If this is The Night Bill Tries To Take Over TV (again), the thread will be about half as long as usual, 'cause every time a Windows user tries to post a bash -- bluescreen. It's not censorship: it's a feature!

Hmmm. The Apprentice: Bill Gates. He owns the work you do on the show. He owns the thoughts you have on the show. He owns you for having applied to the show. Just your standard Microsoft end user agreement. Except that he would also own Mark Burnett for agreeing to edit the show. Y'know, this does have a certain something going for it.

Stand by for bashing, commentary, and permanent IE deletion in three, two, one --

Alla, Felisha, Rebecca and Randal go to dinner to toast being the Final Four. Randal asks Alla what she gave up to be there, she mentions her 10 month old was just starting to walk. Earlier in the suite Felisha and Alla plan to beat R&R. Randal says he and Rebecca will crush Alla and Felisha.

Donald greats the teams at NASDAQ market site. Bill is filling in for George tonight. Short lesson from DT about NASDAQ, concluding that Microsoft largest of the companies on NASDAQ.

DT introduces execs from Microsoft. They will create a 60-second promotional video about power of Microsoft Office Live Meeting. Team whose video is most creative as voted by Microsoft execs will win.

Felisha volunteers to be PM for Capital Edge. Alla says okay, if you're sure. Rebecca volunteers to be PM for R&R, she knows she has worst record and wants to win this one. Felisha puts Alla in charge of video production since she knows how to do that. Randal tells Rebecca he wants to get this win for her.

A&F talking with production company, both throwing out ideas and fleshing out a scenario. Sounds like Alla will produce, Felisha will be the actor in the scenes. Bill is hovering, watching and listening. Felisha is telling Alla how she wants to be directed, Alla is getting frustrated, Felisha tells Alla if she starts over-directing and frustrates her, it's over, done. Alla won't take a back seat, will continue to step up to ensure they win this task.

R&R discussing how they intend to produce their video. They discuss the concept and Randal realizes they will need actors, he finally finds an agency and hires an actor. Rebecca directing the actor, not happy with the actor, neither is Randal and he pulls Rebecca into hall to tell her that. Rebecca ends up asking Randal to do the part. Randal doing fairly well.

A&F on the street to start filming. Felisha doesn't want Alla to direct her, but the production guy points out that Felisha cannot direct if she's in the shot. Alla says she doesn't recognize this Felisha, she's insecure and needy. They start filming, Alla isn't happy with the shots because they can't see Felisha's face. Felisha is once again telling Alla to stop directing her. Felisha is directing from the scene, Alla isn't happy.

I agree with Carolyn...Felisha is the weakest left and she seems to be just weak overall. She can't put Felisha in her place and she isn't strong enough to do it herself.

A&F in post-production. Felisha tells the editor Alla is in charge, c-t's that Alla is all or nothing and doesn't just do part of a task. The editor tells them they have too much content for 60-second video, they decide to move to text and swipes instead of their little playlet.

R&R working on their video. Rebecca is in the video, too. Carolyn comes visit them in post-production and Rebecca explains why they are in the video. Carolyn likes their video, in part because it tells a story. Rebecca wonders if their video isn't very good because Carolyn asked them how long it took to make. Randal tells Rebecca she's taking the comment the wrong way.

Rebecca and Randal are working like a well oiled machine. Their video looked impressive to me. Alla and Felisha's video looked cartoonish. JMHO.

I don't think either video was all that impressive. Rebecca and Randal didn't seem to act very well, and Alla and Felisha's video moved too fast throughout the different pictures.

Excel (Rebecca & Randal) won.

I liked the job R&R did. I'm thinking Felicia's leaving. Particularly after Carolyn's comments last week. Then again, if the irony fairy strikes, it'll be Alla after that CT.

DT's lesson of the week is "Family" -- some people don't realize how important family is, they are successful but don't appreciate the folks at home. Shot of DT in the limo talking to Melania on the phone, 'what do you want for dinner, honey. I'll pick it up on my way home'.

R&R presenting their video to Microsoft execs. It's pretty impressive. They talked about how the software saves you from having files too big to send, or missing a meeting due to travel problems.

A&F enter conference room, dressed in similar outfits. their video is all text, no audio or voice over, rather very little voice over. I was not impressed, the Microsoft folks call it 'interesting'.

DT joins the conference room. After a quick chat with Dustin and Janice, he calls in the teams. Of the four apprentices, Alla looks unhappy and underwhelmed. Dustin and Janice criticizing CE as being difficult to follow and relied more on text than telling a story, Excel wins.

Reward: they will take a sail around Manhattan on an 82-foot schooner, and enjoy the skyline. A&F will join him in the boardroom.

A&F are at dinner, Felisha is crying, she's 'been through hell in her life', she's at an impasse. Alla can't relate to people who get depressed and upset like this.

R&R board the Shearwater and meet the crew. Champagne is poured. Suddenly 2 other people appear, Randal's wife Zahara and Rebecca's boyfriend Matt, who will take the sail with them.

Warm fuzzy family moments. Jeez, I didn't realize tonight was family night around the board -- first Survivor, now this. It's just too warm and fuzzy for me.

Yes! Randal had to basically convince her to say it was a bad idea to keep what they had! He knew it was all wrong and so did she, but if he didn't make her change it, I bet she would've kept the horrible actor version!

Felisha telling Randal she and Alla have been friends since the beginning. She says Alla is warm and caring and not a cold-hearted person. Alla says she wants this and will not stop until she gets it. It will be easier on Felisha to admit she's lost and go home, if she starts to fight Alla will destroy her.

DT tells Alla he knows she hates to lose. Why was Felisha PM for this task, he hears from Bill that Alla was difficult for Felisha to deal with. Alla doesn't believe that's true, that Felisha lost her focus and didn't want Alla to outshine her. Felisha disagrees and says Alla kept saying 'I, I, I'. Carolyn asking if Alla was in control, why not, neither of them were, there was no leadership on the task. (Uh oh, Felisha is getting emotional in her answers.)

DT asks to see their video. DT says video didn't tell him anything, Carolyn says there was too much information, Bill says it was a terrible decision to cut up the video, whose decision was that? Felisha says Alla, Alla contradicts. (Why does Bill sit there with his lips pursed? He looks...silly.)

A&F are going at each other. Carolyn tells Alla that Felisha is being complimentary to her and Alla is shutting her down. Carolyn asks Felisha if she has given up. Felisha says no and starts to cry.

DT asks Felisha if she's strong enough to work in NY, tells her she just isn't, Felisha you're fired. Alla starts to rise from her chair...not so fast! Alla, you're very hard to manage and you were the director of a disaster. Alla, you're fired.

Wow, didn't see that coming! Felisha tells Alla she's sorry she let her down. Bill says Felisha can't lead, Alla can't be led. DT says he's going to the suite to tell R&R they're the final two.

I was cracking up at Alla. She seemed so on her game until this boardroom. She didn't see that she was digging her own grave.

Maybe it was just me, but I thought Felisha was telling DT she's sorry she let HIM down.

I was not at all surprised that Alla was fired after that boardroom. When he fired Felisha, I thought...well, I guess he's gonna fire them both. Sure enough.

It was hilarious when DT said "Alla, sit down". LMAO. I knew right then and there she was toast!

well that was kind of hard to swallow wasn't it? has there been any indication before this show that Alla was hard to manage? watching today, it seemed that Felicia was insecure. Maybe if I watch it again, or see the footage that they cut...

Alla's biggest problem was her ego. I've seen her say she won the tasks for others. I think it was when Clay was PM. He got the win, but it was Alla who said she did all the work. She totally takes over.

I felt like they didn't want her in the final two and took this opportunity to find reasons to fire her. I think they knew they were firing two from the get-go. Frankly, a Randall/Alla ending would have been far, far more interesting.

I'll eat my socks if Randall does not win the entire thing now.
