"Did Troy have a chance ? (Remembering Troy thread)"

A couple of shows ago, DT said that he was impressed with Kwame and Bill's education. And that he couldn't really see Troy running a multi-million dolllar DT company it seemed at least partially because of education. He said education "isn't a bad thing" when Troy said he only had a high school diploma.

If education is so important to Trump then why was Troy even allowed to apply for the job ?

It's hard for me to imagine why the same topics have to be generated as new threads time after time again. I'm not telling you or anyone else what to post and where, but the response you can expect can be likened to the sound of one hand clapping.

I think Troy being fired was sort of unfair but then again, I am partial to Troy because I was his fan. I would like to think that he would have had a chance though because he was a smart guy, even though HE DIDN'T GO TO COLLEGE.

Troy applied for the job because he thought he seriously had a chance. After all, he is very successful starting up his own business and DT has been his idol since high school. Troy was casted because he is an underdog that is very likeable, and many people are routing for him.

Subman: I'm new to the forum, but I've already learned it doesn't matter what the topic or thread--I'm enjoying every one of your posts. They're so zen to me (with maybe the exception of that mile-high one)!

Troy applied and was accepted as a candidate because he had the drive to look beyond his lack of education. Although Troy does not have a formal education he has done welll in establishing his own business. Sometimes you have to look beyond just a degree and other times it is definitely needed to move forward.

There is another thread- Education vs Experience -that addresses this issue in great detail. Check it out.
