I was visiting Chicago this weekend (July 24) and saw a group of 3 or 4 men (age 20-30) pushing a cart down Michigan Avenue near Millennium Park selling soup and being followed by 3 or 4 cameras and a production staff of about 5 (including one guy wearing a poster that said "by walking in front of the camera you give "Untitled Reality TV Project, Inc." the right to use your likeness."

As we walked down the street, I saw a group of 3 or 4 women doing the same thing and followed by the same type of crew.

Could this have been the Apprentice?????

Could have been Apprentice. Bill was going to do something in this fall's episodes, if I remember correctly.

Could this be part of a twist somehow? Since there are 16 this year, maybe some are in NYC and some are with Bill in Chicago, with a head to head run off for the finale?

No, "Apprentice 2" wrapped last month in New York. Most likely this was for Fox's upcoming "Big Shot" show -- which is currently filming in Chicago. We did a story on it earlier this month:

...the contestants apparently did fly to LA for the show, but shortly after we published the story, I began getting tips that the show is actually filming in a penthouse apartment at 400 West Ontario Street in Chicago.

A previously unheard of company called Blue 13 Productions is reportedly behind it, so I wouldn't be surprised to hear of some "unusual" filming techniques
